Dancer Review of Landing Strip

I worked at Landing Strip last Friday and Saturday. I worked there before the pandemic, so my review will compare then versus now and how some things have changed. I last worked there the first week of March 2020. Everything shut down, and I never returned, despite the house mom's relentless texts asking me to work. I planned to quit anyway because of issues like the women's bathrooms and never getting to use them, the smoky and dirty locker room, and the dim and smelly VIP areas. However, some of these concerns seem to have improved, at least based on my first two nights back.

I knew I would have to re-audition and wasn't concerned about not getting hired. When I worked here previously, I had a different appearance due to an autoimmune disease causing weight gain and an incorrect medication dosage affecting my metabolism. I also had shoulder-length purple hair and used a different stage name. Suffice to say, I now look a LOT different. Anyway, I arrived and handed my car over to valet (I'll discuss valet more later, just to address PL2).

I ascended the stairs, expecting to speak with the door girl. Instead, I found two bouncers, one of whom recognized me immediately (I had long blonde hair when we last worked together at Bouzouki in 2016). I filled out an application and was instructed to speak with the DJ, the same one as before. He seemed puzzled and asked if he knew me or if I had worked there previously. I had hoped to go unnoticed to possibly get my "first night" house fee waived. I informed him it had been many years since I last worked there, and he then mentioned that not much had changed (though quite a bit actually had). Following the same process as my initial audition, he escorted me downstairs to meet the house moms. Unlike before, they didn't request my phone number or mention the need for a Romulus cabaret license (in the past, they texted me EVERYDAY asking me if I planned to work and constantly pressured me to obtain that license, which I never did).
