Yes. The few times I worked at clubs that used funny money, it was worth about 10-20% less than actual cash.

Years ago, I went through a period where, due to depressing memories, I did not want to stay at my apartment at all. So while I waited for my lease to end and move, I'd often stay at nearby hotels. I went to one that a friend had stayed at before and told me was clean and had great rates. I put my suitcase and bags on the coffee table, as well as the clothes I was wearing; I always do this and sleep naked my first night at any new hotel no matter how nice it is because of fear of bedbugs. So I get into the bed to lay down and watch TV. After a few minutes, my arm was itchy. I figured it was just a hive from anxiety/stress about staying at a new hotel. So I stayed in the bed and watched some TV for a few minutes. Then I saw a bed bug crawling across the comforter right in front of me. I leaped up, put my clothes on, grabbed my bags and got the fuck out. Took the freeway 15 mins west to the nice, more expensive hotel that I usually would stay at. The first thing I did once I got there was take a nice hot shower. When I got out, I looked in the mirror and my body was covered in bed bug bites. Dozens and dozens of different bites. I had only laid in that awful hotel's bed for like 15 mins total. Luckily the nicer hotel I fled to was one I'd stayed in many times and never had a problem with, and none of the bed bugs from The Bed Bug Hotel latched on to any of my stuff since I had been so cautious in the first place. I gave that hotel a horrible google review and obviously never stayed there again. It was traumatizing.

Mail typically makes me very happy, too. I do a lot of online shopping and often track my packages easily and get SO excited when they arrive or are out for delivery! One of my regular deliveries is a weed subscription box. Comes once a month, each box is a new theme and they send you all sorts of weed related stuff (blunts, rolling papers, little gadgets like bong mats, grinders etc), there's always a glass piece, lighter, and t-shirt included too. I have a collection of small bongs from them). Makes me so happy when it arrives.

"Subi is in Southgate." Yes genius, but Subi himself owns and/or has formerly owned many popular clubs including Landing Strip, the club you were complaining about on previous posts. Anyway, if Subi bought this place, good for him. I've worked multiple clubs of his and he always treated me well. As a matter of fact, Landing Strip was the first club I ever worked at.

Subraman - also, in a few billion years the earth will be engulfed by the sun. It's also crazy to think of how everything in the universe is able to exist and work because of meticulous little consistencies. If these were to change on a microscopic level, life would end as we know it.

Research indicates that prescription drugs are very dangerous (big pharma, in general, is greedy and dangerous). Not to mention, some of the most deadly and addictive drugs are pharmaceuticals that can be aquired with a prescription... think of the opiod crisis; it's not just heroin; people are getting addicted to and overdosing from opiate pills. Furthermore, prescription opiates have been proven to be a "gateway drug" to heroin. Many heroin addicts started off as prescribed patients of opiate drugs. They get hooked on the opiates, and turn to heroin as a cheaper and easily available alternative to the opiate pills they are addicted to (even if they have a prescription and great insurance, once they're addicted that prescription will not sustain them as they will abuse it and run out of it quickly, get sick from not having it, get desperate and try heroin, which for many people ends up being a road from which they cannot return). Also, withdrawal from benzos (xanax, valium, klonopin, etc) is extremely dangerous. Xanax especially has a short half life, leading to a very high potential for abuse, and is one of the few drugs whose withdrawal effects can be fatal. Another is alcohol. People heavily addicted to xanax or alcohol literally cannot quit without medical help because quitting cold turkey can lead to seizures/coma/death. Fuck anyone who sells hard drugs, honestly. They're contributing to people's deaths, no way around that. People who sell weed (and other generally safe drugs like lsd or shrooms) I am totally fine with. People sell heroin and crack? They can fuck off. And bringing hard drugs into clubs absolutely makes those clubs much more dangerous environments for a variety of reasons. At the end of the day, I do think all drugs should be decriminalized, though. If alcohol is legal, everything should be.
