I've never been an actual whale, but I've been a pseudo whale and part of a school of fish that took on a whale shape :)
Pseudo whale: I often SC during the slowest part of the slowest shifts; there's times that over the few hours I'm there, no other girl except my CF has done any VIPs, and some girls haven't even gotten a lapdance. So, "pseudo whale", only by comparison -- my $300-$400 seems like a lot considering the few other customers in the place are spending like $40-$80. Such times have resulted in several of my all-time favorite experiences, from getting impossibly YMMV spoiled by my CF (I assume genuinely thrilled to have a customer who purposely filled her dead times rather than competed with other regulars), to my fave thing in the world: me, my CF, and 1-3 of her friends, all at the table pounding shots and being obnoxious. I just love being at a table filled with the hottest strippers in the place. Typically her friends know I'm not buying dances, but it's so slow they've thrown in the towel and just hang out for the cost of drinks.
My whale-shape experiences: I often SC with buddies, and there are times when we hit a critical mass of 3-7 guys, may even decide to go with bottle service if there's a decent special. In any case, as a table full of guys we get attention, but there have been times where my CF is the hottest or most charming girl in the place, and several of my buddies do dances with her also. So, even though I'm not a whale personally, she can have $1000 days (again, keep in mind this is typically slowest part of the slowest dayshift) off me, and I feel like I get rewarded with crazy YMMV, front-room flirting & groping, etc., because of it
Anyway, two approaches for you guys who don't have whale money, but want whale treatment. But do it with your CF, not some rando stripper, if you want the full impact

Jab, snapchat itself is free. And by default, your interactions with your connections are free. But, you can also set up a "paid" area. So, for example, a stripper could have her main snapchat where she has her regular story, which consists of teasers that tempt you to pay for her for-pay content. Many/most girls seem to have moved to onlyfans, but I guess there's still doing premium content on snapchat also.
For most of us PLs, I think the allure of snapchat is not their premium areas, because who needs that? It's having your CF send you salacious pics and vids via snapchat -- which she's more apt to do, due to the illusion that it just disappears after you watch it. Having snapchat makes it way more likely you'll get sexy pics from your CF, even if she normally won't send pics over text.

White Knight: I've only recently run into my first girl ever who will only talk on snap! No google voice like all the other strippers, and I think you're right, she just wants to be absolutely sure there's no record. In addition, she has a boyfriend, so perhaps she feels better knowing that the evidence all expires.
In general, snap's best feature is that it gives people the illusion of temporality. They think screenshots can be detected, little videos they send can't be recorded, etc. And perhaps the fact that the messages disappear on their phone makes it feel less real...

In the clubs I go to, at least where I know the policy, boyfriends are often not allowed in, and if they are in (or management suspects it's a BF but isn't sure) they seem to be on a VERY short leash. This, of course, does not apply to strippers dating the floor hosts, DJ, or manager lol

Probably depends heavily on their social circle. Most of the women I know have both snapchat and instagram, but starting maybe 3-4 years ago there was a heavy migration from snapchat (which was dominating at the time) to instagram. I'm guessing this was about the time instagram copied all of snapchat's best features. Perhaps some of the girls like the snapchat-like story format (which instagram now has) plus instagram's ability to post photos that are permanent, with the ability to have an interactive chat (which instagram has but snapchat doesn't). On the third hand, lots of girls like snapchat's for-pay feature, although everyone has appeared to migrate to onlyfans for that

Again, showing that there's a difference between sticking your fingers in your ears and "la la la"ing, and building your own fallout shelter. Obviously, I like that article because it mostly echoes what I said -- for the most part, preparing means being able to minimize your exposure if your local area goes "hot". Just as the article said, that means a few weeks of shelf-stable food (which you'll eventually eat anyway)... what the article missed was the other things I listed (pet food, toilet paper, etc) which also undergoes a run and is needed if you want to self-sequester for a couple of weeks.

I don't understand the extremes of "stick your head in the ground and find a way to ignore everything that's going on" and "put on your tinfoil hat and move into your underground survival shelter". It's already had an effect on the market, and yes, partially it's a correction, but everyone whose business includes manufacturing is already starting to see the supply chain get disrupted.
There's not a ton you can do to directly protect yourself against Wuhan, but you can anticipate and protect yourself against the reaction. We know what has happened in other areas and what happens when there's panic, there's a run on certain goods, that you can anticipate and prepare for: toilet paper and feminine hygiene products, pet food, soap & shampoo, shelf-stable foods like white rice and pasta and canned goods, all get run on immediately. The good news is, you can buy a little extra now, and even if there's never an issue, none of these things will really go bad, and if you're in an area where there's hurricanes or earthquakes, you should/could be rotating all this anyway. And if things get bad in your neighborhood and you decide to minimize how often you need to lead the house (I can work from home on a computer, not sure how many others can), well, now you can stay put.

On top of that, some newer areas of infection are showing significantly higher than 2-3% mortality. We don't know yet whether it's just the data (e.g., number of total cases isn't being measured properly, so mortality is disproportionately large) or whether it's something else. Again, no reason to panic, but downright dumb to pretend there is no threat (the economic threat is already being realized), or that the existence of the flu means we should ignore other, more virulent easily-transmissible diseases.

Ish: exactly what a rational person should be doing, IMO. I'm doing some minor prep as well... for me, prep is applicable and leveragable to earthquake preparation as well, which is something the ostriches might not believe will happen but definitely will :) , so all good.

Maybe I shouldn't be surprised you guys are doubling down on the glib, "it's nothing, I know better than everyone else", ignore-all-the-warning-signs position. Not that it's the time for complete panic, but anyone inside industry knows that it's already disrupting the supply chain (as mark94 points out), and there are areas where the mortality rate may be significantly above the 2% being reported. No need to panic, but you guys taking a "I'll be an ostrich and put my head in the ground" view are, as usual for people who are asleep, probably making a big mistake. Portfolio-wise at the least.

I don't think any of us here -- aside from a single loud troll -- have any trouble understanding that paying for sex isn't an ethical issue (except at the point where it starts to feel one or the other might be being exploited). But I think it's disingenuous in the extreme that we're paying for "time and companionship". These are money-for-sex transactions, no need to pretend otherwise. If sex doesn't happen, she's not getting any money for her time.

You're not expecting too much, but you are perhaps being a bit overly passive. Once you're a regular, you're probably getting EXTRA contact in the back, so you're winning back there. And it's probably a fair assumption on her part that, since you're already a regular and she knows she's sold you on the backroom action, no need for her to go into front-room sex-selling mode.
I don't see why you need to sit back passively and hope, though? I sit my CF right next to me, put my arm around her, etc. She knows what to do if I get a little touchy, touch back

To an extent it always for me depends on how spectacular the girl is, how many other options I have, and how long we're going to hang out. Quick rule of them for me -- however, long I takes me to get there, the length of time we hang out better be 100%-150% that long.
So, I had an absolutely awesome ATF move 2 hours away. We'd often meet in the city between us, but sometimes I'd head the 2 hours to her house -- 4 hours round trip. But we'd hang out easily 6-10 hours, often lunch, hang out or sex, dinner, hang out & sex. If I just wanted to smash her for an hour, no way I'd drive 4 hours round trip. But it was fun as fuck to hang out with her, she was the hottest ATF I'd ever had, and hanging out with her at her place was a pretty fun experience.

Totally sympathize with you Wiff, but I will join the chorus of people who generally won't go to a club where I have to valet my car. In all honesty, if I had no choice and the best club in town had valet-only, I might be tremendously irritated but I'd probably deal (or take an uber instead); but given remotely comparable clubs where one valets and one doesn't, not having someone else drive my car is a HUGE factor in my club choice.
