Dancer - Do you mind if I give him a dance first?
Sometimes this happens with me -- I always say yes, unless I was about to take her in the back myself, in which case I'll claim executive privilege and ask her to do her dance with him after ours. If it's just 1-3 dances, ain't no thang, despite the big deal I make here about preferring she just stay with me the entire time. If it's more than that, she risks losing me for the day (and if she's already put in an hour+ socializing with me, that's a lot of wasted time)

    Approaching a dancer
On the one hand, she's a free person, I don't own her, so you're not going to get kicked out or anything if you approach. On the other hand, I often talk with a girl for 60-90 minutes before ever buying my first dance with her, so no matter what YOU think is going on, you have no idea whether she's just talking with some club "furniture" to fill her time, or putting in work to make a sale with a known regular (almost always the case with me). The last thing I'm going to do is get into a fight at a strip club, but not everyone is on my lofty emotional plane, so if you do approach someone in the latter category, it's certainly possible the other customer will make his unhappiness directly known to you in an unpleasant way of some sort. Really, I think Warrior's way is fine -- make eye contact, so if she IS just biding her time, now she knows you're interested, and she can break off and approach you. What I do in these cases, close to 100% of the time, is wait until she is either on stage, when I can approach her with a tip and let her know I'm interested, or catch her when she's walking to or from the bathroom or whatever... I do not approach other customers' personal space or risk them having misplaced feelings of being disrespected. Some guys send the waitress or floor host on their behalf, which I think is a bit of a bitch move, but that also insulates you from a hostile customer.

    Clubbing on a budget
The tuscl hoi polloi have, as they do so often, stumbled and tripped over the correct. I don't think I've ever had a really badass time on a small amount of money at an SC. I don't go until I have a decent amount to spend. If the club sucks that day, I might walk back out with most of that money, but to have a good time, I'm spending it. Maybe another way to say it: least I've spent and had an awesome rockin' time is probably: $200 in dances plus $75 in incidentals (drinks, cover, food), $275.

    Your Fave(s) and TUSCL ?
Perhaps it varies by market, but strippers here HATE PL discussion on the internet, and if you want the poorest service possible, one of the quick ways to do that is to talk about it. First rule of fight club, and all that. Of course, part of that is decades-long hatred of the original local forum here, where extremely detailed reviews of the strippers -- right down to prices and activities performed -- were the norm. That forum got busted in 2013, but the institutional memory remains.

Am I paying her too much?
I agree Papi, just pointing out that even if SHE feels it's fair to buy out a shift -- and that's a common view on SW -- $350 can match it even by that standard.

I know Rick sticks to nightshift, but it is absolutely the case that in this area, on slow dayshifts, easily possible for girls to walk away with $200-$300 in a shift, after tip-outs, etc. That's 8 rough hours of dancing, customer bullshit, stripper politics bullshit, management bullshit, being on her feet, etc. $350 for a dayshift girl, for a Rick-style 2-hour OTC, may not be a bad deal, once she's gotten over the whole "having sex with a PL" thing. A little shakier for my more typical 4-6 hour OTCs

-->"Good luck out here in CA with only $400 OTC. Girls in the bay want $600-1000 for OTC" Humpty, which clubs are you going to where you're being quoted that? Dayshift or nightshift? Are you letting the girls name their price, and that's what they're saying, or are you proposing a price and that's what they're counterproposing?

I've definitely met strippers where I was paying them for an OTC well under what they made during a shift ITC; my possibly delusional explanation is that she'd rather make a little less money doing an easy OTC with an only-mildly-distasteful but respectful and appreciative PL with whom she feels safe, than make a little more money (potentially -- there's always bad days, so no guarantees) fighting off smelly guys, guys who try to stick their fingers in her cooch, douchebags, being treated like shit by the manager, dealing with ITC politics from other girls, etc. In short, I don't think you're necessarily paying her too much. I just think with some girls, OTC with a PL is preferable to the self-esteem-challenging conditions ITC.

Good Happy Hours and Food Deals
Well, to cue my broken record: I regularly order food in the higher end strip clubs I go to, usually choosing the dish with my ATF/CF/StripperOfTheDay, and we split it. Not only is it a great deal for the time the stripper will spend with me, I need both of us to have some food in us, since we'll be doing some drinking

-->"It's still not something I'll ever do. As far as others in the club, I try not to tell people that they're having fun wrong." Exactly. GACA's explanation gave me some more insight. I still think it's a questionable way to engage in conspicuous consumption -- you could also use that same money to conspicuously consume by having all the hottest strippers at your table for the next 3 hours. But whatever. I've always said I don't mind rainmakers -- I'd rather a guy with money be making it rain on the girls in order to impress other customers, than using that same money to monopolize the hottest stripper all day. Over the next 4 hours, I'll hang out with her at my table and do VIPs with her, he showers her with singles whenever she's on stage. Win-win-win! Which, as I scientifically proved above, makes me the HNIC, which amuses me immensely That said, I rarely run into guys who make it rain in the clubs and shifts I go to.

-->"I don't know what's real anymore." Imagine whoever it is who is behind all these trolls, creating troll handles to nominate each other for awards and agree with each other on things. I imagine there's some real skill involved in keeping all these troll handles straight.

What I don't understand is, if you are savvy enough to know about tuscl, how could you nevertheless basically make every single mistake, any time there was a choice to make?

You're delusional. I'm just came up with some brand new topics -- "do you OTC", "drink hustle -- like it or hate it?" "ass guy or tit guy" -- and I'm sure these unique and compelling topics will re-invigorate the group I may create a new character, a female who is a pimp, to help things along. I'm sure half the membership will "give her the benefit of the doubt", once they see a female handle and picture

Ya. I really do think it's just one or two guys creating all these personas... yesterday it was Mtent, who swore he wasn't a troll but obviously was one; today it's Phatboy99, who also happens to be a pimp, and all these guys believe it. At least Phatboy isn't banal the way Mtent was, so whoever is behind it all is improving
