Your review was of Cheetah Pompano which has a ton of reviews and has pretty-much had the same M.O. for years – it’s one thing to write a review to state something has changed; but u wrote a review to simply state that nothing had changed of a club that has close to 500-reviews, and close to 10-reviews already this year alone which is only slightly over-2-months – it was obvious u just wanted the free VIP and didn’t wanna go thru the legitimate ways of doing it. U didn’t even barely give any club details – the review was basically “everything is still the same in the club”.

I’ve never driven a car w/ the steering-wheel on the right – I don’t think it would be a big-deal unless it was a stick-shift – it would feel kinda-odd to change gears w/ my left-hand (although I’m actually left-handed).

I can’t remember – but I don’t think the free-reviews was a thing back-in-the-day? I don’t recall when that became a thing (or if it was always that way) but in hindsight it may have been a mistake since now it seems many people seem entitled to it many of whom often just lurk and don’t contribute nor wanna pay.

“… At the time I presented with two options. Write a review of a club I've visited recently with nothing really new or... Put my credit card into a strip club forum, which if you ask me to do that you might as well ask my why I don't give my card to a stripper to take out some money for me …”
This site has been around for 25+ years and ran by the same person – there has never been a single-complaint of the site-owner ripping anyone off and many of us have been here for years (and some TUSCLers have even met the site-owner in person at a club).
So u are accusing the site owner of potentially stealing from u yet ur ok stealing from him by submitting BS reviews.

What u are basically doing is trying to get-around/game the system – u wrote gibberish just to get the VIP which is about the same as writing a fake-review to get free VIP – since when is someone entitled to free stuff – this is analogous to Whole Foods giving free samples; then they stop doing that; but shoppers feel they are entitled to the free samples so they open food items to try them.
The intent of getting free VIP is to encourage people to contribute WORTWHILE content to the site; not to freeload off of others.
If one runs out of VIP then u run out of VIP – like any other time-limited offer.

IME this club has traditionally been kinda a party-club w/ lots of groups and couples (as compared to the avg club) – although I agree their new table-seating-system as u describe-it sucks, I can see why they would do it (given the club’s M.O. if it’s still as I describe it).
The corporation that owns Tootsies bought this club a couple of years back (the people that own/opened Vixens were actually the previous owners of Scarlett’s and sold it to the Tootsies people).
I guess maybe they wanna milk the Scarlett’s party-crowd and for those that don’t like the Scarlett’s system the club feels they can go to their “sister club” Tootsies (?) – although from what I recall Scarlett’s was big-enough to have both VIP table-seating and regular-table-seating (makes sense they would offer both instead of just VIP tables).

Cosmetic improvement – it would be easier/more-efficient if there was an icon next to a TUSCLer’s name for messaging the TUSCLer – right-now one has to go into the TUSCLer’s profile to then click “Message” – not the end of the world but IMO kinda inefficient (not to mention it may not be obvious for newbies how to message another TUSCLer w/o going looking for it in the TUSCLer’s profile).

You had previously temporarily made the Unpublished Reviews view truncated like every other view (Published Reviews; Discussion threads; etc) – IMO the truncated-view is easier to read and more efficient to navigate.
I would assume most TUSCLers don’t read every single Unpublished review (and at the same time) one after the other and instead scroll thru the list of Unpublished reviews to see which ones to read/vote-on – having the Unpublished reviews only displayed in long-format makes it harder to scroll thru the reviews and pick out the-ones one wants to read/vote-on – it is especially more difficult/tedious when there are a lot of Unpublished-reviews to sift-thru and/or very-long-reviews (when reviews are very long it’s harder to detect the review-breaks especially when scrolling on a phone).
If there will only be one format for Unpublished Reviews then IMO it should be the truncated view (like it is for every other view) – when reading multiple Unpublished reviews in a truncated-view it onlty takes clicking view for a split-second to then spend multiple-minutes reading the actual review (i.e. having to click on an Unpublished review to read it is not that inefficient in terms of the time/effort to just click on it compared to the time one spends reading the review).
Perhaps there can a be a toggle-switch b/w compact and long view; but no other view has this so I don’t see the point of making the Unpublished Reviews view different (and IMO less-efficient).

w.r.t. reviews; it’s inefficient to have adjudicator comments, and review comments; separate – IMO there should only be one comment-section in a review:
+ for one – if the only comments in a review are in the adjudication-section then when one is scrolling/looking thru the list of reviews, it shows as if there are no-comments for that review – e.g. an adjudicator may be asking a question in the adjudication section but the only way for the review-writer to know would be to open the review and purposely look thru the adjudication section – i.e. there isn’t a head-up there is a comment (or pending question) there
+ just as bad, the adjudication comments are post-adjudication comments are separated by a comment box making them harder to read and miss
IMO – don’t post adjudication-comments in the adjudication section – any comments made during the adjudication-process should appear as regular review-comments which also show up in the review-count once the review is published.

IDK if this has been mentioned already – but when I comment on a review, it just hangs there w/ the twirling gear emoji and the comment does not display – I have to get out of the review and back in it to see my comment – I use FireFox on my Android phone and Windows laptop.

This has been discussed multiple times on the forum - one would think with the amount of $$$ that place must be raking-in that they could easily furniture-it/layout-it better/appropriately.
I think it has been mentioned that the club is leased by the owner(s) to the folks currently running it - so it could be a situation where neither the owners of the locale, nor the people running/leasing it, feel they should be the ones making the investment?
Could also be that they are not incentivized to spend $$$ in the club since dancers and custies keep showing up and spending anyway - and it's not like there are other club options just as good.
These are just hypothesis on my part - who knows the real reason behind it - could be the club feels the-powers-to-be will come after them soonner-than-later and force them to close as they have with so many other clubs so they may not see it prudent to invest in the club?

With the taking-away of the free-daily-reviews I'm already noticing an uptick in made-up BS submittals - and some of these guys are not even trying to write a "good fake review" and are submitting BS such as:
"Gret club. Shill vibe. Girls are really friendly. Will definitely be back!"
And sadder even is that there are TUSCLers that still approve shit like this.

This current BDs location was built from scratch in the late-2000s - given how much $$$ they put into the place a bit surprised they don't have an industrial-power-generator for backup - but then again I have no idea what that would cost and if it was price-prohibitive

A review with so many "codes" is not too helpful - just state the facts and the fucking-prices vs all this code-shit - as an out-of-towner I assume you've benefited from prior TUSCL reviews with good straightforward information so u should do the same.

More helpful to give an objective vs subjective review - SCers have different tastes; a club/dancers one does not like doesn't mean others won't and why it's kosher to give details vs just saying the club is not for them - describing the dancers in better detail is more helpful than just saying you don't like them.
And as others have mentioned; from reading reviews over-the-years it seems this is more of a nighshift kinda party-spot.

"... The newest study on self-driving cars show society is reacting negatively to them, the more accidents they're in and support for them has dropped substantially. Why on fucking earth do we need such bullshit ..."
Well - if the technology comes through it would be a help to the diabled and elderly who o/w may not be able to get around on their own; or safely-so - one would assume it could also significantly lower DUIs, as well as distracted drivers which I believe is the #1 reason for accidents - it would also eliminate the need for so many cars which are often parked idle for most hours of the day (e.g. while one is at work, or overnight; etc) - a lot of young people today seem to prefer not to own cars; self-driving-cars would likely allow for a flleet of inexpensive robo-taxis which many would prefer over owning and maintaining a car - of course this is all predicated on the tech working how it's intended.

For decades we just had "the big 3" w.r.t. American automotive manufacturing - to have a little company like Tesla be able to come in and survive and eventually be where they are now is pretty-remarkable - one would assume others tried before and failed, and many in the past probably saw it as impossible and didn't even try - even other EV startups like Rivian and Lucid are having a rough-go-of-it.
Elon Musk may not only be the smartest guy in the room but likely in the world.

The fact someone left of Lightfoot got more votes than her IMO doesn't bode-well for the future of Chi-Town - we'll see what happens

Lightfoot is black; gay; and female - likely the reason she got elected in the first place with Progressives falling all over themselves to virtue-signal
