The uber driver dropped me off at a very darkened club. A storm had blown through the big D earlier and knocked out power to the neighborhood. Baby Dolls was still open. Using lanterns on the bar and the batteries powering and old school boom box, they had the main stage open.

The dj would yell dancers names in between sets to get the next one ready to go. Girls were huddled with each other or customers and offering up privates. You needed the light from your cell phone to move around the areas not lit up by the lanterns.
