Not as good as it used to be

I've recently started to really dislike Scarletts. They seem to think they are an ultra-exclusive club and you must pay to breath around here. I guess the proximity to Tootsie's is infecting them.

I'll summarize 3 visits. 2 by myself and 1 with 3 friends. Usually I would find a line to enter around 10pm in the past but all 3 times this has not been the case. When you come in, they explicitly like to tell you that they want to walk to you to bar because seating is only for bottles. If you dare sit on a table even if there are 20 empty tables then they will politely tell you to fuck-off if you don't spend $100 or more and to sit at the full bars where there are no seats available. So you stand there like an idiot waiting for someone to leave the bar, or make the choice to know that you will spend $100 in drinks or food. Which I suppose won't be a problem with their $18 drinks (I don't drink beer but I'd guess it's also as outrageous). Once you get comfortable the girls will try to slime you into lying to you about the dance cost. In my 3 visits, I'd say 60% of the girls tried to entrap me into a $35 dance cost. ludicrous for a place that cuts songs short.

The girls are 6+ and friendly. I haven't had a bad time having conversations or dances but it is not worth the expense. There is just a weird feeling that all the girls think they are the top-bitch and you see it in their mannerism. This is something I have not found in other nearby tourist clubs as much including tootsies or vixens. Not that they don't exist there because you have to have some ego to work in this profession but it definitely shows more here for some odd-reason. As mentioned above, the pricing can fluctuate. Also, I don't dare ask about VIP because I know it will be a grand waste-of-time. Dances in the back are passable.
