In 20 years you'll be the guy trying to do ballroom dancing with a stripper in the club, trying to relive your youth. And the dancer will play along, because you're paying her rent, but all the time be thinking "holy crap, what a freakin' loser". And afterwards she'll go home to her boyfriend who will take your money and use it for drugs, and laugh while she's screwing your "girlfriend".

Okay, Joey.
Well, I know it's tempting to think that a hot girl really likes you if she does the stuff that's written in that article. And in fact a lot of guys here really think that their favorite strippers actually like them. But we all know that all they care about is your money.
But even guys who've been doing this strip club stuff for decades fall into the trap, and pay strippers' rent and walk their dogs and stuff so the girls will like them. But the strippers are only being nice because of the money.
So my only advice is this:
Always remember, strippers don't really like you. No matter what they say, or what they do, they don't really like you. They can't like you, cuz you're a perv, Joey. You go to strip clubs.
So tell your buddy, if he really is your buddy, to go to a club for a couple hours of a good time, and then leave. Don't even think of having any sort of relationship with them. Unless you're prepared to pay for it.

By the way, if you want some fun, do a search on the internet for photos of stars without makeup or similar. Chicks you're absolutely certain are super hot, without makeup look absolutely scary.

I think it's safe to say that the hot dancers you see in clubs, with their makeup, and their smiles, and their sexy outfits, and their makeup, and their hair all done up, and their makeup, and the dark lighting, and their makeup...those girls don't actually look like that. Especially after they've been arrested for drugs or violence or prostitution and are possibly facing fines or time in prison, and have been crying their mascara all over their faces and have bruises from punching some other stripper.
Kinda takes your "sexy" away pretty quick.

I dunno, maybe it's me, but over the years I've realized that the vast majority of women, in their totally natural state, aren't really that good looking. Even the "hot" ones.

Why the fuck would some clown come on and ask a very general question about mileage in a general geographic area, when all they have to do is look at the reviews for the clubs in that area and get the answer? And if it was LE they already know the clubs in their area. And since when is "mileage" illegal?

By the way, rentz2, you mention Vegas. Back in the 90's, as I recall, there were a few decent clubs with some mileage and reasonable prices, but it was still pretty sparse and mostly WAY over priced. And then they clamped down a bit as I recall. In fact, when I visit Vegas from LA I won't even bother with the clubs due to their overpriced suckiness.
Has any of that changed?

I heard that years ago there were some good, and real high mileage clubs, but the city cleaned up back in the 90's, which was good, but in the process the clubs went sucky. And the rest of the state is like a strip club wasteland, no? Hell, the whole northeast is strip-club-sucky, isn't it?

DandyDan, looks like you're in the midwest/Kansas/Iowa area. I'm kinda surprised you said the trend is more conservative, and the clubs have been dying for years.
I think on the West coast, especially in the LA/Seattle/Phoenix/Tucson/San Diego areas, clubs got real conservative and strict starting in the 90's and early 2000's.
Seattle clamped down real tight and has never recovered from what I've heard.
Phoenix got real strict, and I believe enacted a 6 ft. law, but in recent years has been getting very liberal with very high mileage $10 dances with hot dancers. It's a gold mine.
Same with a lot of clubs in LA. Best action I've seen in decades. And prices are even cheaper than in the 80's/90's.
I think Tucson, which was another mileage capital, clamped down real tight, and sounds like it hasn't recovered.
I believe San Francisco tightened up, and I think it is starting to loosen up.
San Diego always sucked, and probably always will.
On the east coast, Tampa, which was a mileage capital, is a good example of stricter laws in the late 90's and 2000's, but clearly it seems that is loosening up. There was a time when even Mons Venus was looking at having to enact a 6 ft rule or similar, but I believe they just gave it the finger.
Sounds like the midwest might be a bit different. I know a lot of cities on the west coast have been in some serious financial trouble, so I'm attributing the shift away from enforcement on the tight/nonexistent budgets.
Do you think the midwest cities are doing better financially?

Ah, yes, Strip Joint in Pomona. Though I think, at least based on a not-so-recent trip, the amount of mileage with the $10 laps is somewhat questionable. Long ago, the dancers really didn't have much intent to make you splooge, and many made sure it didn't happen. Though that might have changed. Not sure it's in the same league as the other HM, $10 clubs in SoCal. But I could be way out of date on that.

Wow, interesting dilemma. And frankly, in all my years, I don't recall ever facing anything similar. Usually, when the zipper goes down, it's game on.
But again, as others have said, jeans provide no benefit to either party. And in fact they cause pain and anguish to both parties, as well as ambiguity about intent. Shorts, commando, is the only way to go if you're at all serious about a lap dance.
Though it could have been something of a hustle, as you suggest. But who knows?

Sweetie, whether you care, or it impacts you, is irrelevant.
It's called "passive aggressive behavior". Instead of direct confrontation and implication, you imply. You raise doubt about someone's intentions, motives and psyche. You IMPLY that my intentions are questionable, and my motives are suspect, and my psyche is irrationally biased. And therefore anything I say, no matter how rational and reasonable, is likely tainted by irrational bias, and therefore must be disregarded.
And because you don't imply directly, you can always deny the implication, because it was merely an implication. Easy to squirm out of an implication.
And it's usually what people do when they don't have enough info or intelligence to discuss issues, or someone makes them really angry, and they want to hurt the person, not discuss issues.
And when you finish with "I don't care, it doesn't impact me either way", you're wiping your hands of the issue, which gives you the freedom to walk off, blameless, after dropping your little implication bomb. Pretty clean technique, which is why so many people use it.

lopaw, babe (are you a babe??), I'm not saying that more women aren't going to strip clubs. I haven't noticed any women in the clubs I go to, but sure, across the US it could be happening.
But my point is this: is it just a "cool" thing to do this year because someone read an article about it and tweeted her friend and now everyone thinks it's cool? Kind of like flashing way back when, and flash mobs a few years ago.
If it's just a temporary cool thing, and women really don't give a damn about it other than for something different to do until they find something else, then it's not real, and may just be a memory in a couple years.
But yeah, if more women are getting fed up with the sissy men pervading society nowadays, with their liberal views and their "in touch with their emotions" BS, and decide to munch carpet for the rest of their lives, then yeah, they'll go where the hot girls are and try to pick them up.

Oh, and I'm talking out of my ass on this since I've never been to these clubs, but I've been keeping a list of some $5 lap dance clubs with black dancers. I assume they give decent mileage from what I've read about them, but I'll let the local guys clarify:
