I don’t have any problem with a voter ID in theory we have to register to vote so why not provide solid information about your identity. As for in person voting there is no reason to require this, actually some people have very specific reasons that it’s very difficult to vote in person, like service men serving in locations not where they’re supposed to vote, or individuals that are sick, and cannot vote in person, citizens shouldn’t be disenfranchised due to inability to get to their assigned polling locations. We’ve always had a form of absentee voting and there are valid reasons for it.

I think that one thing that would go a long way towards letting the majority of people in this country see what is really happening with federal trials and would go a long way to push back on these claims of one side or another getting away with lying and cheating would be to have the proceedings televised. We need to put some pressure on Chief Justice John Roberts to reverse his decision and allow the federal courts including the Supreme Court to broadcast the proceedings. That would open up the door and allow folks to decide who is getting favorable treatment. My own opinion is more visibility is always better.

I doubt any of the Republicans running are serious about this election, in order to become the Republican nominee someone needs to take on Trump and let the chips fall where they may, except for Chris Christy, none of the Republican candidates have done so, and I think Christy has enough baggage that he’s not going anywhere. If the Republicans don’t dump Trump, Biden is going to win in a cakewalk, sorry to say, but if it’s a rematch of 2020 not even close and my guess is Congress flips as well.

Longevity is a great thing, but only if you’re not incapacitated, as long as you can do things you enjoy and have people around you that care about you and your wellbeing life is great. I’ve great admiration for folks that live well as they age, and enjoy their life.
