I usually don't frequent Deja Vu clubs, but one night I was part of a bachelor party and ended up at one. The 3 for 1 lap dance special comes on and my buddy buys me a dance from this curvy asian girl. The club is typically dark so I can't make out all of her features well. She starts to dance for me. She turns and grinds her ass on my leg, gets up, and I see what looks like a tiny maggot on my thigh. Then I look at her dancing in front of me, back turned to me, and noticed a big red welt on her right butt cheek that looked like a popped zit. Man was that uncomfortable. I didn't want to be rude do I grabbed her by the waist and basically slow danced for the rest of the song. Needless to say, those pants were cleaned and donated to the salvation army!

In past reviews i've said that I would look at other dancers to see how they were. That's kind of misleading of me. If I'm in an open area getting dances, I'll take a quick look around the room at the other dancers. If any of the dancers giving lap dances is looking at me, I automatically place that dancer on the questionable dance list. My feeling is their total attention should be on their customer, not me. There's a lap dance room at my local club that has mirrors on two of the walls. The most annoying thing is when a dancer turns her back to me, sits on my lap and grinds, starts moaning and the like, then I glance at the mirror ahead of us and she's looking around the room, the clock, customers. That annoys me, so I'll do the same, quick glances around the room to see what dancers are into there customers and which ones are people watching.

There's an elevator at Broadway Showgirls in San Francisco that's used to get to the second floor VIP rooms. For moving people up one floor it's not very fast, and to be honest the VIP dances are not worth the trip. I've always wondered what would happen if the elevator got stuck. She's the employee of the club, it's her job to make sure I'm as comfortable as possible in that stressful situation! The reality would be that I would probably have to pay for my "1 on 1" time with her!

Dougster: "The days of whales buying shitloads of stuff for strippers and getting nothing but played in return are over. Nowadays if them whores want any money they better be willing to fuck and suck OTC for under $250."
From eating there I get the distinct impression that's what Hooter's is for!

Each star is different. One club in my area has a pornstar feature dancer almost every month. Of the four I've met, three only autographed and sold pictures and dvd's. The last one did give lap dances. It was expensive. $120 per song. I figured once in a lifetime experince. Honest opinion, not worth it. I got caught up in the moment,"what?! She's giving dances! This is gonna be the beat dance ever!!!"
I should have thought it through. A dancer who doesn't know me, who meets tons of people in clubs all the time is going to give me a once in a lifetime dance in the span of a 4-5min song. Ummm . . . no.
If you do get a dance I wish you luck. Whatever happens you should post your experience here! I'd love to hear about it.

CTQWERTY speaks the truth. I've been going to clubs in SF recently and they just can't compare to the clubs in say, Las Vegas, or others similar. The Crazyhorse would be the best bang for the buck. $25 entrance when going at night, $20 bikini lappers, $40 topless, $100 full nude 3 song VIP. MBOT has a $40 night time entrance fee which is ridiculous!, and prices for things go up from there.
Not quite sure what samsung1 statement really means.
"Asians make up a much larger percentage of the population now than they did 10 years ago in San Fran. Other than that, I don't know much..."
If he'sr saying the bad asian drivers make it harder to get to the SF, thus making finding a good time a tough find, I apologize for my asian brothers and sisters!
But let's be honest, everyone loves asian girls, they're crossover sensations, especially at the strip clubs!

Don't come to San Francisco. It can't even touch Las Vegas in terms of value for your dollar, in every sense. I live in the Bay Area, I frequent the scene here because i've been lucky enough to make connections with managers, bartenders and such, and I still can't wait to go back to Las Vegas.

Tried it once early on in my SC hobby career. Two 10's working the room as a team. Wasn't worth it. Seems like it's an excuse for the girls to only work half as much for the same amount of money cause they trade off during the dance. I had a similar experience as txtittyfan where I was getting a VIP from a favorite and her girlfriend walks in and just joins in the fun. Unreal! Similar ending too!

islaguy1 is right. I stopped by yesterday. The prices are way to high for what you get. I was told that a VIP dance starts at $, and that's just to feed the meter in the room, you also have to tip the dancer on top of that, whatever you negotiate. Within the last few weeks there's a desk outside the VIP cabanas that the dancers need to check in with before going to a room, and that guy will come by and knock when time is up. Also they have pulled down most of the blackout cabana privacy curtains and replaced them with white sheer curtains.
Higher hustle and higher prices for less service and less privacy. And with better bang for your buck else where, that's why all the reviews are down.

The sad part about the Pink Poodle, and all the clubs in the south bay, is that they could lower there dance prices and stop cutting songs short, but the "No Touching" rules would still make $20 seem like too much money to spend. It's why there are a ton of people who make the long trek to San Francisco and avoid the local San Jose area stripclubs. I'll be in Phoenix for spring training and I'll definitly checkout the Great Alaskan Bush Company!

It's funny that the first instruction is <u><b><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">"</span></span><font size="2">1) Research" </font></b></u><font size="2"> and it's the one thing many reviewers don't do at all. I have the distinct feeling your article will just be preaching to the choir and none of the new members will read it. I can't tell you how many reviews I've read where the reviewer complains about one thing or another and I say to myself, "If you would have read a few reviews down you could have avoided all those problems." <br />
<br />
I also agree with the ATM/Credit Card advise. Many people think that if your not drunk you won't fall into the credit trap, but you'd be wrong. I know of many clubs that charge a service fee of $20 to $40 dollars per credit card transaction. And with naked ladies sitting in you lap, all of a sudden it sounds like a good idea. 5 transactions later and your in real trouble! Like rickdugan said, bring cash and spend what you can afford.<br />
<br />
Never fight in a club, especially one that you like. Best case scenario, you win the fight. Typical scenario, you win or lose the fight, doesn't matter, both of you are banned from the club.<br />
<br />
To follow up on another thing rickdugan mentioned, not only should you keep in mind the song count, but before you even get dances get an idea of how long the songs are. No matter where you are in the country there's always that one club that likes to cut songs short. So your $100 3 song/15 minute dance becomes a 3 song 6 minute dance.<br />

Happy Clubbing!<br />

Great points! I've used this technique many times, and the majority of the time i've gotten good to great results. But don't stop there, many clubs have a lap dance area that is open to everyone in the room, little to no privacy. You all know the basic dance routine, give a lapper facing you, at some point the dancer turns around and continues the dance with her back to you. I've see many dancers, including the one dancing for me, just looking around, looking at other dancers, uninterested in there own customers. I'll sometimes do the same, start looking around, seeing which dancers are giving the best dances and which one's seem to be going through the motions. Take every opportunity to narrow your search down.<br type="_moz" />
