Good intel from mjx as always. I don’t get out here as often as I used to, it’s probably been 3-4 months since my last visit. I’m more of a drinker now than I used to be so I stick to Cheerleaders and Ricks where it’s more feasible and economical to Uber to/from. The lineup has been more miss than hit here the last few times I have gone, though I tend to stick to Wednesdays and Sundays. Even when I do find someone I like, too often they disappear when not on stage or are swamped by regulars or crazy tippers. I just can’t get the motivation to deal with the drive anymore when too often the visit is a strikeout. When you are able to connect with a girl you like here though it can be a decent value.

mjx, are you saying touching was off limits? Except for a few girls asking to stay away from sensitive nipples just about anything except between the legs has been the norm for me. I haven’t been here much this year and the last time I was I didn’t actually do any dances.

I haven’t been here in like 2 years, but from what I here this place is only worthwhile on Friday/Saturday nights. Even then, it more if your looking for a party atmosphere with free drinks and hanging out with your bros. It’s not really the place to spend time one-on-one with a dancer.

d.bonner, very accurate though a few times it’s been a great value for me. One time several years I managed to LDK for like $40 total. I parked on Penn Ave, had a free admission coupon, bought one $2 beer, tipped $1 for the beer, tipped like $10 or so to the stage, had a dancer approach me for a 2 for 1, LDK’d, tipped her $5, and left.

A good rule of thumb here is if the curtain has closed, the dances have started.

Desertscrub, everything pretty much jibes with my experiences there, though I go on slow nights during the week not weekends/features. I've never experienced dancers being pushy about drinks, but I'd consider the reviewer lucky for avoiding anyone pushy about dances.

FYI, there is free on-street parking the next block over on Penn Ave. It's a very short walk. That being said if you prefer or don't mind the valet, they are professional and I wouldn't have any concerns about using them other than the price.

You can just pay for the first dance and settle up for any of the add on dances when your done.

I agree with Takedacanolli. Cheerleaders is the best of the big 3 in Pittsburgh, with Rick’s second. Fun can be had at all 3 with the right girl and likewise there are scam artists at all three. Xzavier32‘s point about avoid tag teams is good advice anywhere. I haven’t been to SR that often, but in limited experience the management there has no problem helping the girls work the customers. For example when I was taking a girl back for a room the bouncer asked the girl how she quoted me for the room vs just telling me what the price was. And that’s on top of the fact they have the highest rates for rooms.

A couple times circa 2003-2004 I would do 4-5 clubs here in Pittsburgh. There were more smaller clubs then that didn’t have a cover or were maybe $5. So it wasn’t too expensive to hop around and see who dancing. Going to every club in one night was the best way to see a bigger variety of dancers because at the time most of the small clubs used an agency for the dancers. Dancers would work different clubs each night. A typical night would be Cricket and Anthony’s in Bloomfield, Bottoms Up in Carrick, Curry Hotel in South Park, and/or The Tennyson Lodge in Bethel Park.

I've been to both FC and LS twice Unless there are bigger private booths I'm not aware of I would think the private booths at Flight Club would be more comfortable for a couple. Also the club area of LS is fine, but your girl would probably find the ones at FC less seedy.

I’ve visited twice in the last few months, the first times I’ve ever been here. When chatting I let them know as much. Both times I didn’t have any trouble negotiating to 300 full or 200 mouth. Perhaps you’re dressing too nice. You don’t want to look like TOO much money.

While the valet is mandatory to park in their lot, there is plenty of free street parking on Penn Ave which is the parallel street to Liberty which the club is on.

desertscrub, it’s not a shill review, it seems very accurate compared to my experience here. The Maga land description is very accurate for this club’s location. mjx, I’ve seen Promise at Cheerleaders.

It depends. I've been in clubs where the least attractive girl was a solid 8, and others where the most attractive was a double bagger.

What makes West Virginia so good? I was at Jill’s near Weirton about a month ago. Ok time, no extras, cheaper than Pittsburgh but pricey compared to other clubs that are a hike for me like Filly Corral (Smithton, PA) and Stilettos (New Brighton, PA). I’ve been to a few of the other WV clubs that are within spitting distance of Pittsburgh, but it’s been a few years. I’ve never really found anything that warrants frequent trips.

“Dancers still not trying to sell dances.” Lol, so spot on. That’s been always been my main complaint about this place. If you really want someone specific, I haven’t it done it, but I’ve seen others do it, go to the lady in the dance room and she’ll track the dancer down for you. My MO usually is to tip a $10 or $20 at the stage and tell them to come find me for dances.

At Ricks the only options now are 3 dances for $90 (up from $79 that it’s been for years) or rooms. At least here you can get dances for $25, though some dancers will say they only do rooms.
