Is it time for museums to return their treasures, that were stolen and taken by
On the surface, yes, it seems obvious that looted treasures should be returned. But it’s not a simple black and white issue. Many antiquities came from regions where modern countries didn’t even exist 300-500 years ago. Who are you going to return items that came from the area that is now Pakistan for example?

It’s a complicated issue. Not all pieces were obtained by looting The vast majority of artifacts in museums around the world have been legitimately acquired for those collections, and the previous owners have been paid. Are you going to give back your iPhone which you already paid for to the Chinese?

Straying off topic, but George Washington University is removing their nickname “Colonials” The progressive dumb fucks are too stupid to realize the colonials fought against tyrannical foreign rule, they weren’t advocates of the practice of colonialism.

This used to be part of the “What we believe” mission statement of BLM “We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and ‘villages’ that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable” — Let’s not forget a central tenet of Marxism is the dismantling of the “nuclear family structure.” This statement was removed from the BLM website in 2020 after people started to become educated and support dropped. Sorry to get political, but fatherless homes play part why places like Detroit, Chicago, and St Louis are so dangerous

I remember in the early 90’s when a new portion of the Beeline Expressway opened between I-4 and the Orlando Airport. It was mostly empty land and in no time houses quickly were built. They seemed so close it looked like you could reach out a window and touch your neighbor. I don’t think I want to be that close

I knew a dancer that held a Bible study group for strippers, but it was outside the club. She told me about it while giving me an BBBJ. Only kidding although she was rumored to do that in a non extras club. Another dancer sent me her YouTube link so the Bible study part is true

The only other thing I’d seen James Van Der Beek in was Varsity Blues. I think that’s an underrated sports movie. I love it but you rarely hear about it in the same discussions as Hoosiers or Titans or Rudy

In one of my sports groups the question was asked is Curry top 10? A lot of people said “yes” without any analysis. When you start putting together an actual list, he’s around 12, so not quite there.

Since I can stream almost any old show I want, I miss shows like “The Sports Reporters” and “Mike & Mike” on ESPN. Two shows that were decent before ESPN got all woke and political. Better yet, The Sports Reporters were a rip off of a local Chicago cable show called “The Sports Writers on TV” which aired in the late 80’s early 90’s Some legendary Chicago sports writers appeared Bill Jauss Bill Gleason Ben Bentley Rick Telander Were the primary regulars

    Rising Costs
I don’t necessarily have to watch my expenses - like the typical TUSCL member I make $350k per year and I’m single no kids. That goes a long way But I’d be happy to accept an inflation adjusted increase this year. I hear even Social Security might boost their payments 8%. Not that I’m on SS, but hoping the private sector raises are in line I ordered some curbside pickup from Outback last week. (No OTC girl so I passed on Olive Garden which was right next door) Holy crap, it was $43 and change for one person - dessert but no drinks

"In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The A-Team."

I guess I don’t really miss any old TV shows. One can find about anything on the streaming services now. I general I do wish the networks would show some creativity and come up with a decent sitcom. Probably haven’t had one since Big Bang Theory (early years) I know reality shows are cheap but I don’t like them. And quit with recycling known commodities. Are we gonna have a CSI or NCIS in every city
