University of Oregon is requiring all current faculty and applicants to take a pledge to commit to DEI - Diversity, Equity, Inclusion
All women, blacks and Latinos should be standing up and rebelling. Basically the University is saying you don’t have the talent to compete so we need to give you a starting point of 50 extra points in the exam.

Signs of decline already was already beginning when i was in high school in the late 70’s
Topping the charts was soft shit like “Afternoon Delight” - Starland Vocal Band, “You Light Up My Life - Debbie Boone” and artists like Hall & Oates and Olivia Newton-John (RIP)
There was still some good music being made until sometime in the 90’s but this soft pop opened the door for Disco and it was down hill after that.

Simple trick but cut green peppers correctly. It seems like you are wasting a lot of the pepper but cut off the top and bottom then the seeds come out cleaning to julienne the strips
I used to try and cut the stem out in a circle

Mostly blue collar type warehouse and assembly but lower level managers also. It’s used to be marketing graduates flooded the job market and it was tough getting a job. We have a entry level marketing position open, and HR isn’t even asking for any experience. A degree in marketing gets the job and we have zero, that’s zero applicants since spring. Not one spring graduate applied

Mixed feelings -
On one hand, why not? They’re everywhere else - the airport, convenience stores etc, so why penalize adult clubs
On the other hand, why? I have the same feelings about pool tables and video games. If the dancers are such poor quality and you need other means to be entertained, it’s not a club I want to visit
