The scariest part of this for me to come out was the fact some “experts” claimed we didn’t initially shoot it down because “it’s not so easy to bring it down”. (Little heat signature, hard to detect on radar etc) If true, it really makes one question our military capabilities - the damn thing was the size of 3 busses. Not only is classroom violence a problem but the number of fights and violent incidents at high school and youth sporting events are on the rise. Early in the football season, I posted a warning about the future of high school football and since then the number of shootings and fights continued to increase At least two high school basketball games in December just in the Dayton area where I am now had to be stopped over fights And almost half of referees and officials feel unsafe anymore leading to a critical shortage Just google “ violence in high school sports” and see how many hits - just in 2022

I think you nailed it that technology has been a game-changer Men of certain age will know what I’m talking about. You’re in a new town - maybe you buy a newspaper and get lucky with ads buried in the sports section. But usually you find a jack shack where they typically have a stand with free hobbyists newspapers filled with ads for escorts, massage parlors and strip clubs - but the challenge is being able to find the club. Who wants to stop in a gas station and ask directions to the Pussycat Lounge?
