I don't think the bag searches are any more intrusive than before. It is well documented that girls have been murdered in Cascada's, you can understand why they need to search your bag. In terms of what goes on in the booths, it is hard to say. There is no doubt HK management wants more than just a $10 ficha for a high contact lap dance in the booth, hence the invention of the $30 wine drink. In terms of enforcement by the dancers or the mesero's it seems to come and go. The last time I went I only had the $30 wine drink pushed really hard once, the time before that, every Mesero was pushing the $30.

I thought HK, CC, and Adelitas were already controlled by cartels, seems like other cartels are just trying to get involved.

The $30 wine ficha includes a lap dance at your booth, it isn't $60. The 'dance card' I think refers to the $22 lap dances in the room off of Club Miami, mesero's will come around and try to sell you these also. It has been a while so the price of these may have also increased to $30.

I will try to help. Mesero 's - I have found the best way to track down a Mesero is to ask the bathroom attendant. Other Mesero's don't want to track down their competition. Chica 's - much harder. There are so many I have not idea if you can find out if one is working or not. The $30 dance isn't a dance card, they just make you buy a wine drink instead of a beer or something similar as a ficha. Just say 'no wine' or something. In Theory the wine drinks are supposed to be longer and I have usually found that to be the case but not 3 times longer. I believe there is still an option for a $22? lap dance which is done in a small room of club Miami. The walk between HK and CC feels a little sketchy, but I honestly felt ok. A taxi would be a waste. Just walk quickly and keep your wits about you. There are plenty of police in the Zona and they need American tourist dollars. Extra's - normally you negotiate that with the dancer. I have had BBBJ without any tip. Anal seems to be $100 the couple of times it was quoted to me. My only tip for HK is go up to the new upper levels above the back stage if it gets busy, it seems to be less crowded and more importantly cooler up there. You can access it by using the spiral staircase in the middle that the dancers use.

I have usually been offered the limo when checking out of Cascadas, they give you a little card. It is free but I usually tip $5 so it ends up costing about as a taxi.

Weekends after 9:00 Hong Kong gets very busy, very crowded. Like you can't find a seat and you can barely move through the club. Generally a better selection of girls. I have found Chicago club to be a better option on weekends but with Adelitas closed there are reports of it getting busier. That said, I have also found Hong Kong can go from being crazy crowded to feeling half empty in a matter of 30 minutes, it just depends. Hong Kong has also added new 3rd, 4th, and 5th levels in the back that are usually less crowded. I personally prefer Sunday - Tuesdays Arriba cost doesn't matter if you have your own room or not, but you will have a little more time as the hotel staff aren't clock watchers if you have your own room. There are reports of hotel staff knocking on the door after an hour and demanding you buy a bucket of beers or something similar if your lady is still there. I try to avoid the $30 dances at all cost. Do the girls do GFE/intimate type of stuff? - it depends, and it is hard to find out. Your best bet is to get some feeling during the ficha. Agree with Rick on Virginia. Ohio and Missouri are also pretty strict, at least in Missouri if you are in St Louis or KC there are good options just across the state line.

I have used both Uber and Lyft from the US side. I have never had to wait more then 10 -15 minutes even at 2 in the morning. Both make you walk a bit of the way up San Ysidro Blvd past the Jack in the Box for the pick up area like @Putatester said.. I usually put in the request as soon as I walk out of the immigration building. More often than not the drivers were already dropping someone off at the border. Usually around $30 to go downtown plus tip. The drivers aren't stupid, they know if you are a single white guy where you are coming from, I have had some good conversations with some of the drivers. The last one memorably ask me if I enjoyed the Mexican food and the Chinese (Hong Kong pussy) food. I hadn't heard that one before.

I like Beach Girls in Des Moines, and Lumberyard. Both pretty similar all nude clubs with decent dance contact. If you want to deviate a little Woody's in Cedar Rapids has good reviews. I the Quad Cities Daisy Dukes is pretty good, similar to Lumberyard. Right of I-80. Can't comment on Omaha.

I would add Casa Diablo in Portland. Unusual in several ways: it is a vegan strip club with a devil theme, you tip at the stage with $2 bills, and the bartenders are generally topless. It is also built on the side of a hill with very strange sloped parking lot. I am old enough to remember Mitchell Brothers, definitely a shrine among strip clubs.

Atlantis is just of the highway and is all by itself. 390 is an industrial area, there is a Fed Ex operation that runs pretty much 24 hours a day close by. Both clubs are completely safe and are 10 miles or more south of the dangerous parts of Chicago.

In the strip club world neither are considered great cities. I don't know much about Denver, so will only comment on Chicago. In general, the clubs actually in the city of Chicago are considered high cost and fairly low contact. The better clubs tend to be in the far south suburbs, just across the border in Indiana, or in the Melrose park area near O'hare. My personal favorites are Club 390, Atlantis and PoleKatz, all on the far south or southwest side of the city. Generally decent two way contact and some pretty attractive dancers for not too high of a price. I have had some good times at Industrial Strip in Indiana but it has been a few years so can't really comment if it is the same. I would avoid Scores and Heavenly Bodies. Admiral Theater is probably the best club in the Chicago city limits. I should mention all of these clubs other than Admiral Theatre are well outside the city so if you are not getting a rental car the taxi/uber prices will be high.

The Boxxx Office in nearby Portage is generally considered the highest contact club in this area.

Regarding entry to Mexico the X-Ray machine line has been longer lately, not sure why. What used to be no wait can be a 5 or 10 minute wait now.

The only difference I have noticed post covid is there seems to be a little more National Guard pickups running around the zona, and the security is much tighter at Hong Kong and Cascada's, but as mentioned above this is mostly to protect the girls.

I have never had a problem when I just tell the mesero no, or to come back in 10 minutes. That said, it is good to get one mesero on your side, honestly a $5 tip the first time he brings a drink or a girl is enough. Most mesero's speak better English's than the girls. Tell them what you are looking for and they will keep you happy.
