Post COVID Tijuana

Hey all, so I have been reading a lot of the posts and I am trying to get a feel for how Tijuana is now comparto pre COVID? I have been to Zona Norte on several occasions, but. It since COVID, now all I hear is how dangerous it is. Is it really any more dangerous than it was before COVID or is the basically the same? I am planning on heading down in the next 24-48 hours, but I figured I would ask and see what people said.
Thanks
Thanks

I hope to be down there starting Monday night for a few days. There are other Mexican cities that are having issues, but TJ is reasonably safe.
Also Adelitas is closed, because the owner and managers are charged with tax evasion and trafficking in women for prostitution.
If you go to any country in the world and you are not looking for problems chances are you won’t find problems.
Tijuana is as dangerous as any other “tourist” city in the world, no more no less than Pre-Covid.
With the right mindset and realistic expectations, most heterosexual men will have a good time at Hong Kong because it is, according to Krusty, the Happiest Place on Earth.

If you behave like a Gentlemen you will be treated like a gentleman, if you behave like a ugly American Tourist you will be treated accordingly.
Just use common sense don’t be flashing cash don’t travel outside the safe Zona Norte, don’t drink or do drugs.
Just be careful out there, like if you were visiting the South, South Central Los Angeles, Compton California, Detroit etc etc
Most people in Tijuana are regular people like you and everyone else in the world, nice, welcoming and helpful.
And traveling to Tijuana is still very affordable for most Americans.
Pics and Vids of it isn’t so.
:D
Good Times, Good Times.
Stick to the safer well known areas, use Uber instead of the local taxis, and you'll be good.
