This is ridiculous. Have you ever actually gone to strip club? I've literally had dozens, if not hundreds, of strippers over the years, can't think of even one that was high or drunk. This is a tired, old stereotype.
I've seen a few strippers who were drunk/stoned off their asses. One was so bad, she almost fell off a stage. Another, from that same club, you couldn't have a coherent conversation with. Sort of makes me wonder how much the club's culture might be at work.
Its just a certain % of them who have trouble doing the job
Some guys claim they will get “trauma” if they do sexual activities with old men or a large volume of men and the drugs alcohol helps cope with it
But i dont know how true that is even among the ones who do drink/use drugs

About ten percent of American workers drink or smoke up at least once a month on the job. I bet it's higher in the restaurant business.
I've had more than one stripper offer me an edible or a hit from her pen. We have recreational marijuana so it's just kind of common here.
