Smoking in the club

Itsmytime
I’ve had enough and I can’t take it any more
Between visits to customers yesterday I had time to stop by a club. Problem was, I could find a non-smoking club. Reeking of cigarettes at my afternoon meeting would have been a telltale sign that I’d been somewhere I shouldn’t have been while on the clock. As a result, a club and a few dancers lost out (and so did I).

Is smoking at a club in such high demand? I mean, if a club offered a separate (well ventilated) smoking room or a smoking patio outside, would so many PLs not go there because they demand to smoke while in the club?

Gotta think there are lots of other PLs (me included) who would visit more often if they could leave without smelling like an ashtray, either to return to work or to return to their loving significant other.

I think a good compromise (which I've never seen in action) would be for clubs to allow vaping, but not smoking.

The vaping won't get in your hair and shit but still allows PLs & strippers with a nicotine addiction to get their fix.

Maryland banned smoking decades ago. I’m reminded when I travel how bad it used to be in clubs in states where it’s legal. Stogies indoors are the worst for us non smokers who don’t want to wear them home.

Most, if not all, of the popular south Florida (Miami-area) clubs I went to allow smoking indoors. I'm more surprised by how many people still smoke in this day and age though. Being from the midwest originally, it was not a common occurrence. California, I also did not really notice it. Seems to be an east-coast and (likely) southern thing. I took it up while enlisted, but stopped once I got out. Can't stand my clothes smoking like cigarettes now.

One of the best things about Oregon is how long we've been without indoor smoking. Love not having that stink on me and my clo

I started clubbing more often and spending more money after Maryland banned indoor smoking in public places.

Dollar store, Walmart, Kohls, JC Penny all exist.
Why would strip clubs be any different? Across USA, there will be a range from mind-numbers (alcohol, Cigs, 420s, whatever else) to clean / smoke free / high end, with low to high pricing ranges.

Real Estate, Laws, Accessibility to girls & even their preferences, everything plays into this. If you don't own a club or a law-maker ... What does it matter how the clubs operate... Either they do or they don't... You either can live with the smoke or not... The choice of being able to live with the clothes / the take-home smell / the take-to-car smell - everything is a choice that you weight against your own personal preference of whether you can make it or not.

When smoking was allowed in clubs, I didn't notice the smoke while I was inside. But after I left and I was outside the club, I really noticed the stench from my clothes. I'm glad those days are over. Wouldn't go to a club that allowed smoking inside.

I just sat next to a dude smoking in a Denver club tonight. In my travels around the country it's rare to run into this. I found it annoying to be around. Vaping doesn't bother me but cigarettes are one of the nastiest habits you can have. Might as well fart on me.

I use to be a cigarette smoker but even then I couldn't stand the smell of a cigar ITC.

Even in Tijuana they seem to enforce the inside no-smoking rule pretty much.

I haven't been a smoker for over 30 years, but I live and let live. If given the choice I'd ban perfume and cologne, which in South Florida is made palatable by smokers. The best part of vaping is sitting in the club smoking weed.

The clubs I enjoy the most do seem to be the ones that (legally or illegally) allow smoking. Fortunately, I'm use to it. I came of age in a time when a non-smoking bar would only have been for Felix Ungers.

I quit smoking 6-7 years ago both cigarettes and cigars, never minded the smell of a good quality cigar but cigarettes were always disgusting to me, now if I’m sitting somewhere with smokers nearby I usually just move.
Here in South Florida it’s intrusive as hell, with the exception of upper class clubs with good air scrubbers. It’s just crazy how many smokers there are in strip clubs, I don’t see them anywhere else, not at the beach, nor in shopping malls with outdoor smoking sections. I’ve actually stopped going to certain clubs because of the prevalence of cigarette smoke.

I tolerate it but if it's feasible a try to stay away from smokers. A lot of them tend to be around the bar area. I don't drink so I incidentally can avoid of them

This is crazy. I haven't been to Fla in years because I don't fancy the weather, so I was completely unaware that they still permitted smoking. I think Nevada still has smoking in casinos. Are they the only two states left to allow smoking in bars?

In Georgia Smoking is also allowed in bars and restaurants, where access is denied to any person under the age of 18 and where no person under the age of 18 is employed.
