Rizo de Oro vs Cascadas vs Ticuan

Wednesday, March 29, 2023 9:04 AM
Looking for the best option not the cheapest. I assume Ticuan is a bit nicer but further away and not good for bringing anyone from Hong Kong or other clubs. Would Uber and fly into San Diego will have luggage so not practical to take a bus or train (haven't been on public transport since a kid) I assume Rizo is quieter since not over HK?. I will be staying 4-5 nights. Am used to a large desk like at Marriott's when I travel the US for more business class but looks like these just have little tables. I will use a laptop a lot to keep in touch with business etc). Yet want to be convenient for dancers etc. Thanks, will be 1st time visitor. Been to Pattaya Thailand, the Philippines etc but a long time ago and am age 76 but active and still enjoy sensual women, not wild sex stuff - even when much younger.

riso and cascada are convenient for the girls but they do not have the desk/table furnishings that you like in the standard rooms.

I do suggest get a VIP card especially if you're hanging around on Monday and Tuesday to get the 70% hotel discount and other perks. i prefer rizo but it's across the street from HK.

Yes, will get VIP. Plan to be there during week including Mon-Tues and probably avoid busy weekends.

Rizo/Cascadas are oriented around one thing: Giving you a place to take a bargirl to for whatever activities you have in mind for her (I'm generalizing based on reviews of yours that I've seen in the past). In terms of quality and amenities, think of a good Motel 6 or Super 8 property. They do a reasonable job with cleaning and upkeep but the accommodations are not anywhere near what the room rate would get you in, say, Mexico City. If you book at either of these, I would recommend at least a double room because the singles are very small for more than a 1-2 night stay. I go for the master rooms for the extra space plus the ability to get a room with a window (they tend to be at the ends of the halls). Ticuan is definitely a step up in terms of quality and amenities and is usually comparable in cost (or slightly cheaper). The tradeoff is that it's located in the tourist district. You will only get bargirls to go there with you by negotiating something outside of their shift at the club as it's far enough away that you can't just pop out of the club and come back easily, especially at night. It sounds like this will be your first trip there so I would recommend Cascadas this time around until you get a feel for the place. You should go during the week as the weekends are a little overwhelming, crowd-wise.

Cascadas is NOT a nice hotel. Beds are not comfortable, the TV selections suck. The wifi sucks. It can be loud. There is construction almost all the time. I would not want to stay there for 4-5 nights. But it is gloriously convenient to Hong Kong. The doors are literally about 5 feet from each other. What I think I will do the next time I go is this. Stay at Ticuan. Mainly to sleep there . But also get a single room at Cascadas for the days I want to monger. Having my own room at Cascadas will still be way cheaper than paying for a temp room each time you bring up a girl. Will I be paying for two rooms for the same nights ? Yeah, but those are still cheaper than traveling anywhere in the US.

@Warrior I actually think their beds are super comfortable, but I like a firm mattress. I actually look forward to sleeping at Cascadas. Lol. I know Red Baron has said he thinks their beds are more comfortable than his sleep number.. all personal preference..

Thanks for good info. I may want to explore the massage parlor scene and maybe outcall escorts, although haven't researched much on them yet. So Ticuan may be best for that plus a few nights at Cascadas when I want to do HK and sister clubs. Could leave main luggage with extra clothing etc at Ticuan and have just laptop and less to take to Cascadas. I actually pack a full-size Logitech keyboard even for laptop since am so used to it. Another question relates to Wi-Fi, I never rely at hotel Wi-Fi although sometimes fine in the US. I have Cox extended service for Canada and Mexico - which simply ties into the local ISPs. When I went to more remote places like Colorado mountain cottage also rented a fairly inexpensive hotspot that relies on satellites which provided solid wi-fi in a remote area of Colorado. In order to use Cox I set up my phone as a hotspot so use the laptop and full-size keyboard. I can not type on a smartphone so just use it for mapping/ hotspot or scanning email but always reply via laptop. At home have PC that drives eight large 28" monitors in front of me. I look like mission control at home :)

When? That is a good question. I am starting to plan various trips mostly to Canada -Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and maybe Vashon Island WA, and like to get back to Minneapolis where grew up.- but want to wait until late May when warms up in the North and starts to get too hot here in Phoenix. Have thought of getting up the nerve to venture to TJ earlier (am a bit concerned about safety) but am currently very busy with my business (Registered Investment advisor). Where have I been? Have not traveled much in last few year of course related to Covid - but made a trip to Toronto where have friends in Sept 2022 and shorter trips to OR and MT for conferences related to my ham radio hobby. When I travel often 7-10 days I relax a lot in addition to hobby activities.

If it helps, I used Google Fi for couple of days at cascades during my last trip. Internet connectivity and cellular reception was good (was on 5th floor all the way in the back). Was able to attend meeting, stream Netflix and YouTube with out issues.

Dave, good to see you're making your first trip to TJ and the fabulous HK. It should be on every monger's TDL. I've stayed only at Cascadas because you can't beat the convenience for taking up HK gals. But it's the not the place to stay if you're seeking peace and quiet and a good night's sleep, something I always forego during my annual visits to this men's Disneyland. HK ladies are becoming more business-like but it's still possible to get the sensuality and GFE we seek. DM me if you have any questions. Have fun, and ignore TUSCL's man-hating lesbian, desertscrub, who's constantly trying to persuade guys from going to TJ.

@stevesaba - when I tried to stream Netflix or [view link] I am blocked from using a vpn and without a vpn I’m blocked by them for being out of country. How do you circumvent that?

@623 - after your question now i am thinking why it connected with out any vpn requirements. it is possible I might have viewed the downloaded series. I downloaded full series at home prior to trip and remember at least watching one episode on netflix. Regarding youtube, I was using regular YouTube service not [view link].

If the internet connection was slow or might get loading slowness on regular YouTube. With my cox, I "should" have a direct connection via networking with major TJ cable companies via roaming. Has an agreement with all the major ISPs and finds the strongest, at least in Canada. Bypasses going thru the hotel wi-fi. Assuming have so good cell providers that are strong in the Zona area. Then use the cell as a hotspot which gives solid access to laptop.

The recommendation for booking two rooms, one in the Zone and one outside. I have frequently done it myself. Hotel Caesar is cheaper than Ticuan, but there are reasons, such as smaller rooms and no elevator. FYI, Ticuan has an excellent breakfast included with the room. Down the street is a massage parlor. New Balance I believe it is called. Haven't tried it myself, but I am tempted. A HK puta says she wants to go there with me. I don't think she realizes that massage is only half of the service provided. Another reason to book outside the Zone is if you do have a chica there, no knock and no bar fines. I like TLNs, but Cascadas/Rizo try to charge a $300 bar fine for girls overnight. And they charge a $100 bar fine for girls who stay in your room over an hour. I am also in my 70s and having a few relaxed hours with a 20-something chica is a joy. Doing so in the Zona hotels is a pain.

Depends on what you envision your trip on being like. If you plan on actually getting a decent sleep after your adult fun, I don't recommend Cascada. It's a fine hotel. My room was fine. but it's fuckin LOUD if you get a street side room or a lower level room because of how loud the club downstairs is. I stayed on the 3rd or 4th floor room and It was tough to stay asleep when you could hear a subwoofer all night. Rizo is nicer than Cascada in my opinion. Tropical is more my vibe than HK. Just preference. But the worst case is HK is your spot and you literally have to walk across the street with a girl. Not a big deal, it happens every 15 minutes there. I can't comment on the rooms at Ticuan. However, I did a trip where I stayed at Caesers because I planned on getting an Escort agency girl (that fell through because I genuinely was just not in the mood after my night before with a Tropical girl. In a good but exhausted way lol). I liked being on Revo because I had more options during the day for food, drink, and entertainment. So if you plan on walking around a bit and checking out nonadult entertainment attractions, I recommend staying away from Zona norte. If you plan on just focusing on partying, I recommend Rizo so you can rest properly and recover for round two.
