Not going to TJ this week, but I was just wondering if anyone's gonna be there for HK's 35th anniversary Wednesday. Yeah, I know a lot of us (myself included) gripe about the Dragon's pricing and excessive hustling, but it's still by far the crown jewel of Zona Norte. And (by all accounts) to think it was just an ordinary dive bar 15-20 years ago!

I mean, you gotta give the dragon credit, for keeping that huge bar stocked 24/7 with gorgeous and willing chicas. He's a savvy broker, and has connected me with some wonderful chicas. Probably 9 of my top 10 overall strip club experiences have happened in that club. He deserves some of his due.
My biggest gripe is not feeding him, but the inconsistent manner of his demands for food. Maybe you get barfined, maybe not. Maybe a chica can visit you gratis off-the-clock, or maybe they'll charge you $300 for that privilege. Maybe you'll be buying beer fichas, and maybe you get hit with the wine scam. Maybe she'll give you a bailecita during a ficha, or maybe the dragon's minions will demand you buy a privado.
The inconsistency leaves one feeling taken advantage of, exploited even. It's aggravating, but not enough that I will stop coming!
Anyway, I'll miss this 35th anniversary party, but I'm eager to see event photos at hktijuana.com and would love to hear first hand reports from anyone who attends!
