My top 6 all time (in no particular order)
-Rocky V
-Sandlot
-Rudy
-Remember the Titans
-The Color of Money
-Happy Gilmore
I left some great ones off, which was tough. But ultimately these had to be on.

I have to add, Sandlot is really fucking terrible. I don’t get the love for that piece of shit. Not just Muddy, but otherwise normal friends of mine too.
It’s more hackneyed than the Little Rascals. I actually played sandlot baseball as a kid - that douche-chill movie almost makes me ashamed to admit it.

Well I think this shifted from the "greatest" to just a list of every sports movie ever made! Lol. Anyway here's one of my favorites not mentioned yet: Cinderella Man.

Also I agree with Studme - the Sandlot was crap.

Glad to see Any Given Sunday get some flowers. It's not the absolute greatest movie ever made by any stretch, but it's criminally underrated. It is a pretty damn good movie, if a bit long.
I'm also a fan of the Creed movies, those were both better than I expected and I'm actually looking forward to #3.

^^ Yeah, I thought Creed would be a further deterioration of the Rocky franchise, but they were both really good.

I love baseball movies. I’ve watched most of those old black and white movies about baseball from “It Happens Every Spring” to “The Monty Stratton Story”
So, having said that, it probably blasphemous to say this…
I don’t really care for Field of Dreams, Bull Durham or the Sandlot

There’s a pretty cool movie called “Sugar” about a Dominican player in the minor league system. It seemed real.

I think I found one that wasn’t listed yet - Hustle with Adam Sandler - great movie…
The ones I watch over and over and over:
Semi Pro
Rocky IV
Major League
Not sure if these are sports movies but they’ve been mentioned already:
Rounders
Color of Money
I could watch these both on a continuous loop

I'm not really a sports guy. So, Caddyshack just because it's hilarious.

Why is Rocky IV better than the others?
^ because Rocky defeats communism in Rocky IV. It’s like all of us beating up on CJ Kent!!!!!

Is poker a sport? Rounders is a great movie, but a sports move?

I will add two I don’t think I saw.
One on one - a good basketball movie from many years ago.
Cinderella man - a good story about an impressive boxer living during the depression.

Lol on Sandlot. Fair enough to be honest I havne't seen it a while but back in the day when I saw it as a kid was great. We were doing that shit. But I respect that, most hollywood movies are a little faggy to me so I understand completely.
I felt the need to put on a Mighty Ducks but I forget which one was the good one. Knucklepuck baby.
And I love field of dreams but there's not too much baseball in it, but that end is great.
And if you want to say the first 4 rocky's belong on there, fine by me

How could your queers forget Tron? That was a sports game. I blew enough quarters at the video arcade when I was 8 on that stupid game I could have probably paid my college tuition with that money.

Rounders is a great movie. I agree. I guess that is considered a sport?

If Die Hard is counted as a Christmas movie, then Rounders is for sure a sports movie
Everyone has got to watch it. I just love the performances by Edward Norton and John Turturro. Well just about everyone. I never get tired of it
