Next up will be renaming the Army's helicopters, all of which have native American names: UH-60 Black Hawk, CH-47 Chinook, AH-64 Apache. No longer flying (for the Army): UH-1 Iroquois (more commonly known as the Huey) and OH-58 Kiowa. The Army claims the names are tributes to native Americans, but everyone knows its really racism. The only one I can think of without a native American name is the AH-1 Cobra. But that name is speciest.

You may be right with this, but is it a bad thing? Isn’t this just a property dispute? If anyone owns the name “Cherokee” isn’t it the tribe? They are their own nation. Shouldn’t they get a share of the profits made off using their property? John Madden gets money from the video games, why not the Cherokees?
