While image search is nothing to be afraid of, there are other things that you should be aware of. The most import thing is EXIF metadata.
I'll put that in plain words for you.
Metadata is data about data. In the case of digital images, the digital image is the primary data, and the metadata is data that you don't see about the image itself.
Most of the metadata is comprised of things you aren't going to care about - I doubt you care if your stalker knows the kind of camera used to take a picture of you.
But there is one piece of metadata that is really sensitive - geolocation of the photo.
