$800 for around the world... let me think:

  • ITC or OTC?
  • How hot is she? Is she exactly my type?
  • Is she fun, or do I find her irritating except for my carnal interest? How are we getting on?
  • Is she a mechanic? Or will I wind up convinced she's having as much fun as I am?
  • How long are we going to spend together? What's the foreplay like?
  • On what corner of the planet are we talking about?

Depending on the answers to these questions it could be a complete waste of money. Or maybe that's an incredible deal.

I feel like you are likely to completely miss my point here so let me spell it out: extras are a well differentiated service. These questions you're posing are like asking if $1,000 or $10,000 is too little or too much to pay for a painting. It totally depends on who is doing the painting and what kind of painting they're producing.

"Paid too much" is entirely subjective, and as a consequence only the PL can decide for themselves if the transaction was a worthwhile one. Paying too much is self-determined.

You definitely didn't hear me say you "paid too much". Plenty of PLs have spent much more for much less and been happy with the outcome.

But, if you think you're paying too much, you're paying too much. And we're all losers right, but surely being a losing doesn't prevent you from becoming a more savvy negotiator over time. Learn to "invite no", and learn to refuse a bad deal.

When I joined up TUSCL, you had to make $300K annually to be allowed here, standards are gone, looks like they letting too much riff raff on here lately.

Hold on @Baristafan, who called you cheap? I don't recall anyone making that suggestion. I hope you don't think I made that implication.

My counterpoint is simply that there's no standard pricing in the world of extras. Much depends on where you are, who you are with, what services they're offering and other intangible factors.
