  Lap dancing started at MBOT, and it meant lap sitting. All front room. FS was prohibited, but almost no other rules. Makeout sessions, though not universal,they were common. Most of the time the addition of booths and back rooms does not increase the mileage, it just means that the girl does not have to just let it happen. She can control it.   Seems to me most PLs are pretty-tame when getting-dances either bc they are afraid, or bc that's the way they like it - I've seen RILs that seem like they are in a PL-trance just lightly touching a dancer like she was a delicate-flower.   That kind of preference is more likely when it’s a younger guy lol.   I think it’s a big “it depends”. For me, I enjoy striving to make a connection with the dancer, if only for the moment of the dance. Sometimes the connection happens, frequently it does not.
