Wow man. Good luck and it sounds like you defended/ avenged her honorably. Hopefully there are mitigating circumstances that keep you out of the pokey.

Just don't hire that hack, skibum - you don't want to end up in prison for life.

Never been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor.

If I were a felon, I would not be able to work where I do, as a felony clearance is required to obtain a dance license in Detroit.

Shanks and shivs are made inside the prison by prisoners. I have watched Orange is the New Black, and while they had to get unrealistic with storylines, the general setup of how the prison is run is apparently pretty realistic, from what I've been told by a woman I know who was in a minimum security prison.

Inmates are very resourceful, because they have to be. They make shanks out of basically anything. Break a broomstick, you have yourself a shank. Melt some jolly rangers, shape them with a newspaper and wait for it to dry, you have a shank. Sharpen your toothbrush, you have a shank. Anything that can be make sharp can get turned into a shank. Acquire a razor and get it secured on to your toothbrush and you have a shiv.

And sometimes, the inmates will use their shanks to frame other inmates. This is especially common when one inmate is about to get out, and a jealous inmate with plenty more time to go finds out. They with plant the shank or shiv in the other inmates cell. If you get caught with one, you get in trouble. Doesn't matter if it isn't yours.

Yes, she went there for "3rd DUI" offense which is a felony in MI. First she went to jail for 6 months, and I must assume she had a suspended sentence because she later went to prison for only 6 months, and I'm pretty sure it was for a probation violation for the felony DUI which is confusing to me because it was years after she went to jail.

Her prison nickname was "Black White Girl" because she is black but talks "like a white girl" (in other words, she spoke correctly).

The only thing she did while she was in there was go to church and braid people's hair for commissary. She used to play Spades, but a woman tried to pick a fight with her and she decided getting back home to her family was more important than risking getting a ticket and more time. So she just went to church and "pressed her bunk" after that, as she calls it.

She also told me she had a prison girlfriend, but that they were never able to really do anything because of lack of privacy and the presence of the correctional officers.

She met a girl in there who also used to be a stripper, who was in there for beating another stripper with her stiletto (assault with a deadly weapon). They were both petite women and both might've had boob jobs because their body types were alike enough for them to exchange nice clothes to wear during visitations, and I know for a fact that Black White Girl has a boob job.

When she only had like a month left, someone slid a shank into her cell at night to try to get her in trouble. Her cellmate took care of it for her, because she knew that Black White Girl was on her way to being released and reunited with her kids. Black White Girl's bitter ex husband number 1, the father of her only two children, never let her children visit her. Not when she was in jail, and not when she was in prison. He rarely let her talk to her children on the phone. She would call, and he would spend 14 of the 15 minute phonecalls berating her, then give her children the phone for the last 60 seconds of the call and say, "here, say hi to your mom."

I love my mom.
❤️

You're trolling of me is getting stale, two_bits, so there's some more material for you to work with.

But you had to jack the thread and make it all about yourself. Typical.

^weekends in N Carolina tend to take quite a while before you see a magistrate, and with this storm running through betcha it’ll take a few days before he’s able to get a bond hearing.

If this were actually true:

1. Juice is morally correct in beating the woman beater. But in the eyes of the cops, and the law in general, it is more of a "you should have just dialed 911 instead and let the police handle it." Yeah. Let me dial 911 after a man hit my ex wife so the man who hit her has time to run away, and return after the police leave, even angrier now, and probably hit her again. This is why sometimes it is necessary to take the law into your own hands (literally).

2. If Juice were actually arrested for beating the guy up, what is the guy gonna say? "He beat me up because I hit my wife"? No. He's going to try to get the charges dropped so that HE can avoid jail, as well. (Unless the ex wife covers for the man who beats her).

3. Unless someone is turning themselves in for a sentence, or for warrants, people don't just routinely go to jail and stay there. They are given an arraignment in a somewhat timely fashion and told what they are currently being charged with. Then they are given a bond. The only time a bond is denied is typically if the person has warrants or is on probation/parole, or it's an offense like homicide or rape (and even then, people often get bonds, they are just incredibly high). This is not the case. If the story is true, Juice will be given a relatively low bond, be bonded out, and hopefully find some legal representation and get a statement from the woman-beater, or the woman, to try to convince a prosecutor to drop the charges set up a nice plea deal to get any assault charges dismissed.

Although, a Friday night / Saturday morning is a bad time to get arrested, since you may have to wait until Monday to get arraigned.
NinaBambina

Meant drop the charges OR* set up a nice plea deal.

Typically this crime is picked up by the state so the alleged "victim" (in this case, woman beater) can't just drop the charges himself.

However, if this actually happened and Juice wanted to avoid a warrant, Juice could have just stayed and made a statement that Woman Beater hit the ex wife, he was trying to deescalate the situation, and Woman Beater got violent with him and assaulted him, leaving him to have to defend himself. The "victim" would have to make a statement. And, he would also have to LIE in his statement about why he was beat up. Does he really want to make an honest statement to the police and say, "he beat me up because I assaulted my wife"? No. Does he want to lie on his statement? Maybe. Does he want to leave to avoid making a statement? Sure.

Take it to trial. Say you were trying to deescalate the situation and Woman Beater got violent and assaulted you. Put the "victim" on the stand and let him self-destruct during cross examination to raise the little bit of doubt needed for a not guilty verdict.

Plus, this post is very vague. Did the text him or call him and tell him this? Did he witness it himself? Are there other witnesses besides the ex-wife, the woman beater, and him? Did it happen in a home or in a public place? And if Juice was so worried and in a hurry, why would he take time to type to tuscl if his livelihood (and his ex wife's livelihood) were at risk?

Too many variables. And it's Juice, so he's probably just fucking with us anyway.

Sounds like another excuse to get out of a planned TUSCL meetup. I expect the southeastern contingent of TUSCL to keep us informed of the latest developments. This is better than the telenovellas in between arribas.
