My first introduction to a ROB
Bobbers
I stopped in a strip club that I had never been to previously. I was approached by a fairly attractive Brazilian woman who seemed a little weird/quirky but she might have been one of the better-looking girls in there at the time. We head to the LD room, which is $20/dance. We were in there for four songs. At the end of the dance, I said to her, "That's $80, right?" She said to me, "No, you owe me $220." My first reaction was "What the fuck?" She then proceeded to tell me that she'd call the cops and have me arrested if I didn't pay. So I marched over to the bouncer and explained the situation. She was all hysterical at this point, claiming that I didn't pay and the bouncer would need to call the cops.
I was surprised when the bouncer started giving her a lecture... apparently it was club policy to get the $20 before every dance, and this wasn't the first time she "forgot" to do so. He also said that there was no way we could have racked up a $220 charge because I was in there for no longer than five songs. I said to him, I'll pay her the $80 because I got four dances and that's what she deserves. He said that would be okay, so I paid it out to her right in front of him and promptly left the club. He followed me out and apologized for her actions. She had a reputation for doing this.
I stopped by again and later found out that she got fired, lol.

Unfortunately a lot of clubs are run like the Wild West and you're on your own when it comes to customer-dancer negotiations.
Unfortunately too many inexperienced custies get easily intimidated and pay up and thus why dancers keep doing it.
At a black dive I visit a black dancer tried to rip me off, I decided not to let it go and spoke w/ the manager and he almost right away knew who I was talking about, apparently the dancer had just come back from a 3-month suspension for ripping off custies in the past, about 15-minutes later I saw her leaving the club in street-clothes I assume she'd gotten fired.
Most dancers try to earn your $$$ but there are always a few ROBs thus one needs to lookout for themselves b/c staff won't always do so or may not be able to do so b/c they did not see what happened
