tuscl

Have you ever brought up a TUSCL trope IRL?

In a brilliant place!
I'm not proud of this since it sort of spoiled the moment on an actual unpaid date. However, I was sucking on the girls breast in a manner she considered too avid. When asked I said without thinking that I was "Rick the lamprey". Probably non-brilliant! :(

Has this happened to you? Not the specific event of calling yourself one of the rickthezoo crew on a date but the more general issue of bringing up something from TUSCL with people who don't read TUSCL?

Nope. I have a friend who's an avid strip clubber and told him about the site as I think he'd think the discussion board is funny but he never took my advice.

I thought I was outed when a CF said, "Hi rockstar!" as she walked by me once, but when I subtly questioned her, she was just saying that since I play in a band. Whew!

She probably doesn't know what a lamprey is. Or possibly she does and was afraid you would never let go.

Sometimes I say "Ace" or "Brilliant." Does that count? I've also referred to The System or called non-strippers "civvies" or "civilian women." When asked for clarification, I tell them "non-mercenary" ... which surprisingly .. they get it! :) Sometimes I find myself using tuscl terms with the wife, which is odd, but if you know me and know that my wife surf this site with me, it's not so odd. :-/

    No.

In most of the online world, people subscribe to a National Public Radio Sensibility. As one commentator put it, they are saying that all the worlds problems would go away if women would just wear sensible shoes.

No, I don't engage in TUSCL talk anywhere else.

^^^ This is ludicrous! Perhaps "people subscribe to a National Public Radio Sensibility" at npr.org. But "in most of the online world"? LMFAO

Maybe not everywhere, but there are lots of places online where you will be jumped on if you say anything which endorses women dressing sexy, or your liking that, or looking at free Internet porn. And you cannot ever mention strip clubs, or the AMPs which I have made so much use of.

In many online places they just don't accept such things. You could say that the people are neurotic.

Deuce, There are lots of place where you could not post all your videos, or show your clear enjoyment of them. You would be warned, and then deleted.

These kinds of forums, the way they interpret their rules is completely arbitrary too.

Here, Founder letting us go without moderation, it is much better. Though we have trolls, people don't need to worry about them.

In the places with moderators they can even be more contentious, as people try to argue that they are right. And see, most of the time the moderators don't actually read the threads, so they don't really know what is going on.

Now here at TUSCL we are troll saturated. But at TJAmigos, they also are troll controlled, it is just that you don't see the trolls. They are the ones who have moderator powers. They enforce a completely ludicrous interpretation of their own rules too.

We are lucky here that Founder set it up as he did.

Dominic77, it is truly ace that you say "ace" and "brilliant"! Believe it or not that's a joke that arose on TUSCL that I almost completely restrict to TUSCL! ;)

san_jose_guy, I'm not sure what you mean by "National Public Radio Sensibility" in this context. If somebody refers to NPR I always envision Terry Gross' interview style. And I don't think Terry Gross would find the conversations here to her taste.

Maybe Diane Rehm would fit in. It would be truly ace if larryfishsticks was actually Diane Rehm! : )

4got, I think SJG may be referring to 2nd wave of 4rd wave Feminism. Particularly the adversion to perpetuating "rape culture" or sexual harassment or a hostile workplace. Very P.C. The thing is not all women are happy with that. Some like 3rd wave feminists do miss being objectified ... in bad boy non-threatening way, even the liberals. It's a tightrope. Call it Subraman style.

Most of the people on NPR believe that the world would be wonderful if vulgarity could be eliminated, and they see raw sex appeal as vulgar.

    A very good thread.
