I did find it interesting that Premier Trudeau had signed an executive order earlier this year barring Donald Trump from visiting Canada. I feel things could get REALLY Frosty... and I doubt we can afford a second wall on a larger border.

Canada is so damn close here but- its really not an option. <sigh>

Don't let the screen door hit you in the ass on the way out the door. Maybe you can room with Jeff Spicoli I mean Sean or Russel Simmons.
Canada does not want anyone who is going to move there for political reasons.
Canada needs us more than we need them.
If Trump oks the Keystone pipeline Trudeau will kiss and make up. "Its about the economy stupid"

Doesn't Canada have great strip clubs? If so I might visit but only in the summer.

Canada has long provided asylum when there have been problems in the US. It is part of their proud heritage. I believe Mexico will be doing the same.

We could possibly be better off if some of the "Stars" would leave(movie, TV, music, rap, porn, sports, etc). They don't pay their taxes anyway so leave and see how much you can get away with elsewhere when you don't pay your taxes or run your mouth because you think you can do what you please because you are "SPECIAL". Virtually every other country on the planet would either jail you ass or toss you out!

A lot to like about Canada. But not their confiscatory tax structure. 55% marginal income tax rate, plus PST and GST on purchases. Long, long waits for elective surgery (socialized medicine). Think I'll pass.

We need to go that way, if we want to have a functioning democracy. More like Netherlands and Scandinavia. What we have right now depends on racism, and the bogus sciences of social Darwinism and eugenics. Democracy cannot work in such situations.

Interesting. For me I think it will just mean learning to operate in the border area with Mexico.

Toronto and Montreal have kick ass strip clubs. Prostitution is essential "legal" in Canada. But be prepared to give a lot more in taxes and you're probably not going to like the socialized medicine.

I know about the essential legality, and I know about the higher taxes, and about the socialized medicine.

Their health care system was patterned after our Medicare system. Then they extended theirs further and further.

We had been in sync with them and Western Europe until one Richard Nixon was able to draw upon our history of horrible race relations and he unveiled his Southern Strategy, and then this would later develop into the Libertarian Anti-Government doctrine, culminating in this election of Donald Trump.

have to act. More interested in Mexico than Canada, myself. Associate with Mexican's on a regular basis already.

Fuck that. Learn Spanish and move to Mexico. The weather is nicer, it's not under British rule and the best hookers and strippers are there. Not to mention you'll be the richest dude there.

If your idea of a great dinner out is plain white toast, no butter and tea, Canada is the place for you. The funniest thing is that progressives are such pussies they talk about moving away, never do and when we volunteer to move their stuff for them, they cry. SJG -- are you aware that America exists becuase the founding fathers didn;t want to be Europe? How frigging dumb is it to compare America to a place none of us fucking want to live in and is only able to create their welfare state because our military protects these pussies. The EU would get their ass kicked by Rhode Island in a war.

The US was more progressive than Europe, when Europe was ruled by crowned heads. But much has changed since. Like for one thing, after WWII Europe's Right was discredited.

The American Right has not be so discredited, as we can see.

During the 1960's Europe and the US were generally in sync.

Canada's health care system was patterned after the American Medicare system.

But then something happened, Richard Nixon unveiled his Southern Strategy which cast everything in terms of coded racism.
