Tired traveler, you are one crazy wackjob hairless ape
rickthelion
Straight outta tha NC, comin' atcha with an AK ready to steal your daughter. ROAR!!!
Regardless, I laughed for hours after reading your response to my god question.
I am not a damn humanist. I don't even dignify that name you idiots give yourselves. You're a bunch of hairless apes. And the new pecking order is going to be:
Lions > tigers > other big cats > house cats > bears > sharks > vultures > hawks and falcons > apes with hair > hairless apes
Pangolins probably belong pretty high in the hierarchy too. I can't resist those cute little guys. They're definitely worth more than you damn dirty apes!
ROAR!

Although I hate to read too much into things he says I will just point out that all rickthelion was saying is that Iranians refer to God as Allah, which does have an Arabic origin.
Also, I don't think rickthelion actually asserted that Iran was in the Middle East, but most traditional lists of countries in the Middle East actually do include Iran.
No disrespect but I've decided to stay on rickthelion's good side. He's threatened to go "wildebeest" on me many times. If his attentions shift to you all the better for me!
Plus I agree that pangolins are brilliant! ;)
God no matter what the name has always been an excuse for abuse.
Virtually all that claim to be God's only ear on earth are listening to the other one.
"Vanity! It's my Favorite Sin!"
Let's see how much of a rise this gets. LOL
My own personal religion is based on the approach; not on answers. I try and think about what makes us uniquely human and focus on being better at it. For example, we pretend killing is wrong yet governments sanction killing in some circumstances, so "Thou shall not kill" doesn't really help us. Instead, we need to define the parameters of killing. The same can be said of most of the biblical commandments.
Perhaps in another 50,000 years, mankind will have evolved its religions to where they provide more of a framework and less of a black and white approach to good and evil. Until then, we'll hate the Christians, Jews, Muslims. pagans, etc. because that's what our religions compel us to do.
You're non-public school education seems at least partially flawed.
I believe the original Aramaic commandment was something like though shalt not kill without proper justification or something like that and it was shortened to "Thou Shalt Not Kill".
I learned that from a late night philosophical discussion in college with a pragmatic theology student over a bottle(s) of bourbon. So take it for what it is worth as we were all hammered.
