No strip clubs for me in 2016.

Although, I do realize the ghetto's are now wanting to make their way to Portland and Phoenix- having destroyed strip clubs in every other city. So I may have to just forget about the clubs altogether.

Good luck in 2016! I'm sure your hiatus is long overdue according to your reviews. Seems like you've had the rhip hop and rap scene blues for quite some time. At least the clubs I frequent do a great job of playing rock and roll while sprinkling in hip hop/rap. These genres cover a large variety of music so tastes can vary by DJ, but you'd be surprised at how well a good disc jockey in a strip club helps to open wallets.

Does this mean we won't have to listen to your whinging about how horrible strip clubs are becoming for a whole entire year?

nickifree, with all due respect, man, I've been to Austin strip clubs ~30 times in the past 6 years and I love many of them. I get that you're black but don't like ghetto black girls. However, I always enjoy my daytime visits to XTC (twice), Landing Strip (thrice), and Expose (many times) and also (usually but decreasingly) to Yellow Rose. My single daytime visits to Perfect 10 and Palazio were also great. I agree that Sugar's Uptown Cabaret has fallen on hard times, so that I never go any more, and that Chicas Bonitas is pretty ghetto/barrio, though I even liked my first two visits there last summer. But from where I sit in the Midwest, Austin seems to be blessed with about a dozen strip clubs, several of which -- Perfect 10, XTC, Expose, Landing Strip -- provide consistently fine entertainment value. Either you're too picky or you need a nice long break. Maybe your outlook will be more positive in 2017. Nickifree, I wish you a Happy and Successful New Year!

Save your $$$ and travel/weekend-trips to some of the better clubs around the country.

If you got a tall living room you could set up a stripper pole in your living room and invite dancers over with free beer and you'll tip if they dance. Party at nickifree's place. :) I might have to clean up and turn my heat on if I did that. too much work. I still have my air on but it did not turn on today.
