  Well I actually do have sufficient judgement to refrain from asswiping and bidet jokes and "brilliant!" is my version of "lol" -- appropriate for discussion boards but not a mantra! I am a happy guy though! And I do have a cute dachshund puppy! Though 4got2usethepapers is on his nickname! He's not AKC registered as 4got2usethepapers! ;) That said I haven't had a SO since I broke up with my ex in early Feb! But yes, I can indeed function with women I don't pay! :)

  I'd guesstimate that 99% of women would not like their man going to SCs – I've even heard over on SW about dancers saying they don't want their man going to SCs.

  Actually – this thread IMO pretty much answers PoleDancer's question in the other thread – i.e. that most people, male or female; do not want to date or be in a relationship w/ someone whom either visits SCs nor works in them.

  I think most "normal" women don't stand a chance for frequent SC patrons. Dancers are the fantasy women who mostly have great tits and their job is to make a man feel like a stud who gets their attention. It can be very intimidating to women who are not confident in their sexuality.

  I would never tell my g/f's through the years that I enjoyed the hobby. But then with my current g/f I thought I'd try an experiment: I'd tell her the truth about everything. The acid test came last fall when I was hanging with my ATF and her S/O (female and my #2) one evening at her apartment, and the next day it came out in conversation that I was hanging with 2 strippers the night before. She thought it was really funny for some reason....because she thinks I'm just slumming I suppose I it was just about sex. I don't see it that way at all; I have strong feelings for these women, but she liked i was honest and I liked she didn't throw stones. She's a keeper I think.

  IME, women almost always fall into two categories. Those who feel threatened by strippers and those who think it is funny and/or intriguing. Most of the very good looking ones are in the latter camp, and have at least contemplated it themselves?

  I don't like it when everyone knows you visit strip clubs. The last place I worked at someone must have been talking. One girl at work suddenly approached me and said how about a one nighter at a hotel? Aniother girl at work I never talked to came up to me and said she was thinking about stripping then asked, do you think I would make a good stripper? given , my response now probably would be different than back then. It was probably the guy. I showed some pics of naked porn stars sitting on my lap. He probably thought I fucked them. They were just feature entertainers. He had a big mouth.

I partly agree with Che. A lot of women will tolerate a lot... but IMO the caveat is this toleration only exists if the guy has some quality that makes the girl wet.

But being a woman myself I also can look past the small flaws that they may have. It takes a helluva lot of balls for these women to get naked in front of so many men. Which reinforces my point of that Everyday women dating a SC regular have a lot to live up to. If y'all are stating that dancer quality has been depressing - what do you think when civvies drop their panties?

  i agree with my wife. Dancers are supposed to be the fantasy that the majority of men (and women) don't think they could ever achieve. I would think that if a civvie found out her SO was frequenting SC's the majority of them would be utterly pissed and hurt. Probably the main point of contention would be her thinking her man didn't think she was sexy enough for him and he felt the need to fulfill a desire elsewhere. It's no different than if she wanted to do a girls night out to go see the Chippendales. I'd bet most men would say hell no but it's no diff. If you're trying to start dating someone and they find out you go to SC's they might wonder if there's something wrong with you. Maybe you can't handle a relationship or maybe you're a pervert. I guess that's why most people hide their SC activities. I also have to agree that the quality of strippers can be fucking depressing. I guess in high end clubs in big cities they get plenty of hot women to choose from but in all the other regular cities around the country the pool of women who want to strip is a lot smaller so they have to take most anyone who walks in the door just to make money. Most of the strippers we see are average and we wouldn't look at them twice in the real world. They may be cute but nothing special and are of no interest. I'll say 60% of them. I'll say 30% of the ones we see we have to look away. It's just awful. All we can figure is they must have amazing self esteem. That leaves 10% that we'd actually consider hot and sexy stripper material. So if 10% of the strippers we see are ones we'd consider hot then yeah the quality if pretty depressing. But the main point is we're out together having fun so that makes it all worthwhile.

  Ah JS I think you're not a bad guy but I wholeheartedly disagree with you. Being a dancer and going to clubs are two entirely different things. You could stop if you met a lady you really cared for. I still have to pay bills no matter how much I might want to impress a new man. I still think you're brilliant though;)

  I didn't set foot in a strip club for this past year when I was in a relationship and had no desire to. Now that it's over, It's back on again and I'll go when I get the urge. But that's me. Others will go regardless of the relationship and that's their prerogative. Generally not my style.
