I would feel bad about myself, considering you mentioned Mr. Mellencamp, that one time, I was at the club when a dominatrix type chick danced to "Hurt So Good". She would crack her whip when Mellencamp would sing "Hurt So Good". Maybe you had to be there, but it was the funniest strip act I ever witnessed.
Not sure, since my taste in good music and my taste in good strip club music are different. You could play Radiohead in a strip club and people would be utterly confused. Anything by AC/DC, however, and I think people like it in general at the club. Of course, one of my favorite dancers asked me to choose her music once, so I subjected everyone to Rush's Tom Sawyer. I'm not sure anybody liked it except me.
