Does your Club allow entry of cellphones?

Wednesday, March 4, 2015 6:32 PM
I like to use my I phone 6 plus in clubs to check up on emails, read a newspaper article, or browse TER, EROS, or other web pages. This makes my visit to the Club multidimensional and exhilarating! I get to look at beautiful women, listen to some great music, get some dances (I may even slip a condom on for those high friction dances), purchase a meal, and browse the web. I may spend time on my cellphone while I wait for a dancer who may be busy in VIP. I have observed that high end clubs allow customers to bring in cellphones. However, the low end clubs have a strict No Cellphone Allowed policy. Is this due to a difference in clientele? Is a No Cellphone Allowed policy a dealbreaker for you to visit the club? I hate to leave my cellphone in the car for an extended period of time. I do not have access to calls or information. What is your impression regarding clubs that allow cellphones and those that do not?

The main objection to cell phones in strip clubs is that guys use them to take pictures of the strippers.

Jack is spot on. What happens in the club stays in the club. No pictures please. I like bringing in my phone also. Don't want anyone mucking that up.

I’ve heard of clubs than ban cell phones; but I don’t recall ever being told anything about having a cell ph at a club.

I leave my smart phone in the car. But I have a burner phone that is strictly for strippers and girl friends. I always take it into the club. It is small and has no camera. I doubt it is noticed by the doormen during a patdown. It comes in handy to keep in contact with my favs.

Up till about 6 months ago I was still using my old fop phone that didn't have a camera on it, never had an issue taking into a SC, then the company made me get an iPhone and usually if it seen I am told to take it to my car.

My regular club announces that it will confiscate your phone if you're seen taking pictures or even if you pull it out when you are near the stage. I've never seen them actually do this, but I have seen them tell guys to step back toward the entrance if they pull their phone out.

I don't mind a club where there's no cell phones allowed on the floor -- particularly if this rule also applies to the strippers -- but there needs to be a front lobby or other area where it's allowed. In my current fave clubs, it seems to be mostly a common sense policy: don't take your cell phone out near the stage, and don't put your cellphone at the strippers. I either use mine while it's flat on the table, or hold it on my lap under the level of the tabletop (so no one can mistakenly think I'm pointing my cellphone's camera at them, since they can't see the actual phone at all), never had any trouble at all. A club that didn't allow any cellphone use, anywhere, would have to have one hell of an amazing stripper lineup for me to want to go there.

None of the clubs that I frequent forbid it but I never take mine into a club. I'm old school. I only use it for emergencies or when I am out of town.

I won't go in without it. Since most all my visits are during hours I am "working", I have to be in contact. Never have even been asked and I know they have seen me using it. Were I not a regular, might be different.

Savannahs on Hanna in Harrisburg is cell phone free club. If you have one when you enter they will give you the option of taking it back to your car or ckecking it at the front desk. Knives of any description are also banned.

I agree with Jabberwock. I have a iPhone 6, there's no way I'm leaving that in my car.

I have an iPad mini, er I mean iPhone 6+ as well and it's just too cumbersome for me to carry into a club. Luckily when I go into a club it's in the evening so I don't have to worry about work interfering. Yes I feel half paranoid without it on me because it is at my side every other time but it's a pain in the ass to lug around the club while I'm getting lapdances, carrying a drink, etc. I am too afraid I will leave it in the VIP room, or at my table and wind up losing it so I leave it in the car (if I drove) or leave it at the hotel (if I take a cab). It's a minor inconvenience asking the club to call me a cab if there isn't one outside waiting, but other than that I deal with it, and always make sure I wear a watch so I know what time it is. Unlike ujay wanting to read stuff on his phone to pass time, I actually like "disconnecting" inside the club, just me, a drink, titties and no distractions.

Most clubs in Atlanta allow cell phones. Some of them are super strict on pics and force patrons to delete them if they are caught taking pics. Some are less strict and I had to duck a few times to get out of a pic ITC.

None of the SC's we've been to in Huntsville forbid them but you DO NOT take pictures. If someone is an idiot and starts taking pics the bouncers are immediately on the spot grabbing it. They will take the phone, delete any pics or video right there and embarrass the hell out of whatever moron did it. Once they've removed anything they took they promptly escort them out the door. I check the time on mine and just have it to stay connected in case of a text or call. Mrs seaboard uses hers in case we get a strippers # and for texts. Of course hers is an iPhone 6 plus so I end up being the one having to carry it. With all my cargo pockets full I end up looking like i'm going to a war zone. The door guy at our fave club has always been cool and knows when he pats me down it's vapes, batteries, keys, etc.... never makes me empty my pockets since I showed him what it all was the very first time we went. Any blade is a strict no no though. That stays in the jeep. I can't imagine going to the club and ending up playing on my phone when there's titties everywhere. I don't understand people that do that. Funny story, we have seen the same guy there twice over the last few months and both times he's had an iPod shuffle clipped to his pants with earphones in all night. Even at the tip rail motor boating some titties he's still got his earphones in. Never takes them out. Weird.

Yeah, I don't understand the point in surfing the Net while you're in a strip club. It's sort of like watching a movie on your tablet while you're at a Rolling Stones concert. Put all of your attention to one or the other; you won't be able to fully appreciate either if you divide your attention like that. One club I went to does a pat down and wands patrons. The bouncer asked me if I had a cell phone. When I told him it was out in the car, he said, "Good place for it." At another club, I'd check the time on my cell -- that's about it. One time, a couple of bouncers were moving fast through the crowd. I heard one of them say something to the effect of "fuckin' idiot takin' fuckin' pictures." One club let me bring a camera in. I showed it to the door guy/bouncer, asked him if it was okay, told him I was just going to show one of the dancers some pics I took at a convention. He told me, "No problem, just don't take any pictures of the girls."

Most clubs I know about ban them completely, but if you wear cargo shorts and put it in your pocket, they don't notice it then. The only truly safe place to use it in the club is the men's room. The funny thing is that the ones where I've seen customers openly using them on the floor is in the divier clubs, unlike ujay's observation.

I club during the day shift when I can get away from work, and it can get slow from time to time so I'll pull it my cell if I get bored. I usually don't have that problem in the evening.

Because of the outrageous t-shirts that I wear, I get my photo taken quite often by dancers, waitresses and bouncers. They are careful to make it a neck down shot and always show it to me. If my face got in one it wouldn't bother me.

sc, "If my face got in one it wouldn't bother me." A benefit of age. :)

Can't remember a club that banned cell phones, but I don't frequent dives. No cell phone at tip rail is a pretty common rule, and of course no pics anywhere, but that's about it.

Yes they are allowed. Bouncers will grab your phone and delete pics if you take any. You can not even act like you are trying to take a pic.

How would you feel if someone "accidently" photographed you at the tip rail with a cell phone?

I have been i few places that in the past didn't allow them but usually if you didn't have a camera they don't care. Nowadays all phone have cameras so they don't bother but the rule is still in place so do not try to take a picture if you like you cell phone. Most clubs still have rules about that and will take you cell and erase it or break it.

Ban my cellphone...ban me. My cell is my office when I don't want to lug the laptop.

If you don't want my phone in the club, that means you don't want anything else that's in my pockets in the club either. Thankfully, I've never had that problem.

I have never attempted to take a photo of a stripper or photos of anyone one in the club. My cellphone is usually placed below the table or laid flat on the counter. I use my cellphone for several purposes: 1. Pass away time while waiting for a beautiful stripper who may be in VIP. 2. Arrange an OTC meeting with a stripper or an escort. 3. Research other clubs. 4. Avoid wasting time with a less than desirable stripper. 5. Staying uptodate on current events. 6. Being available for emergency calls from work, family, or friends. 7. Waiting for the right striped to come by.
