Stripper earnings question

Some of you may remember me recently mentioning Kendra Wilkinson being on a reality TV programme over here. As a reminder she is stuck in a jungle in Australia and has to go through various trials etc. on a daily basis. On last nights episode she was discussing her 'career' as a stripper. She told all her other camp mates that in six months she earned $500,000 as a stripper. No doubt strippers can earn good money but this seems a bit far fetched. She's have to earn almost $2,809 per night every night to get to that figure without an breaks.
Don't know about you guys but I think she was bullshitting?
She also claimed to earn $4,000 one night just sitting talking to a guy, that's a little bit more believable.
By the way she is freaking out at nearly every challenge is being a complete wimp!

this is based on several conversations i have had, at what i would say is a much busier than average club.
depending on how much they work, a dayshifter might be on only as little as $35,000-$45,000/year **, while a top girl working weekend nights at an average club say four nights a week, should still easily be on $100,000+ but i would say those making even a quarter what kendra claims would be rare.
(** extras would naturally push this figure up)
in kendra's case she may be charging much more for her supposed superstar status and i would therefore her claims are possible ?
i bet she is reckoning on making at least a million out of being in the jungle show also ?
Once she became a d-list "celebrity" she may have been able to make close to that buy traveling around the country as a headliner at various strip clubs, but still unlikely. I think the most I had ever heard a stripper making in one weekend was $7,000 working on a Friday and Saturday night in Vegas. This was strictly lapdances and VIP sessions, this girl worked at a no-extras club.
Johnsmith is correct, it's not uncommon for some higher tier girls to make over $100,000 a year. It's quite hilarious though, I would see these girls roll into the clubs in Toronto driving expensive cars, carrying designer purses, shoes, etc... I wanted to remind them, "hey I can do my job for 30 years and make that type of money where your window of opportunity is 5-10 years max, you may wanna save some of your money."
In the United States, strippers I got to know personally that were the better looking girls at their clubs, working in large cities (Dallas, Vegas, Phoenix, Atlanta, etc.) usually were making $50K-70K working 3-4 nights a week, working about 48-50 weeks a year. Some of them had day jobs, some did not The majority of them appeared to manage their money horribly and always seemed broke.
For a skilled gold digger working in a low mileage/high roller club with the kind of instincts that could land her a Hugh Hefner class boyfriend, hell, $500k is barely the cash equivalent of 2 or 3 luxury car gifts. Which is not to necessarily say that this particular chick isn't bullshitting.
But like others have stated typical strippers will make $50,000-$100,000. Some make more and many make less.
The strippers I know in the Detroit area can make $50K to $100K a year after taxes (which is the same as before taxes for strippers.)
As they make and more money now I expect fewer and fewer of them (especially the new ones) to offer extras.
They'll probably get back to the point where they can make $75k/y-125k/y if they do it full time and are attractive soon even w/o extras.
In some places it's already happened and more.
