Regarding the recent discussions involving "civies:"
Admittedly my experience may be skewed, but over the last couple of years I have had the occasion to meet over dinner and drinks with a not inconsiderable number of attractive, young civilian women, mostly in their mid-twenties, and all of them have said without fail they had no interest in dating the broke, knucklehead guys their own age, and that instead they were interested in dating a generous, respectful older man.
Lol! Still having trouble accepting your age Stevie-girl? Maybe if you moved beyond $40k/y bureaucratic lifer it would get easier. But, damn it! You won't get their if you just obsess over celebrity gossip all the time and have no skills beyond song lyric quoter.
So hate on people who aren't old farts. Maybe you can get a big ol' circle jerk of others here who are older than they wish to be agree with you that's it's actually great and everyone can feel good about it.
Translation- they will "date" old guys for the money and they will fuck their 20 something guy friends when Pops is napping or having the 4pm senior dinner special at Denny's.
Stevie really doesn't have much built in skepticism when he hears something he wishes was true. Can't think critically. Just wants the cognitive dissonance gone!

Fact. Wen a girl in her mid twenties says older, she means up to mid thirties. Some may stretch that number to late thirties early 40's but only if you are super paid, and super young acting. Don't get me wrong @steve229 no-dot, there are outliers. Sure some girls have major granddaddy issues. I new a 24 year old who would only date guys in their 50's and older. But she was a major outlier not to mention a fckn headcase. But seems like the older I get the less effected I get by them, so it's a blast to play with them for a while. Somebody advised me against dating strippers, but shot I feel like I've been dating close to strippers for a very long time. Just want to see what an actual stripper has in store. Can't be much worse.
@experimental most civilian women are looking for a sugar daddy, maybe not quite as actively as in that site...but a hell of a lot of them want to be with someone financially secure and maybe even affluent.
I don't think it's wishful thinking, I get 2-3 messages daily from civilian women asking if I want to get together for coffee or meet for drinks
And just for the record, Denny's is suddenly "cool" again.
There's clearly some truth to what Steve no dot says. Women place great importance in a man with maturity, money, and security, and older guys usually have those things more than younger guys. Just to cite one example, my ATF's last serious boyfriend (they dated for over a year before he broke up with her) was 20 years older than her.
@johnsmith69 was your ATF over 30? And do you live in the South? I've noticed a lot of girls out here feel old at 27. Old. LA has 38 year old ladies having their fist kid. So to this civie question, could be a regional answer not so much a universal one

@GACAclub-When dealing with Los Angeles, you must factor in the Latino factor. We can have kids way past being 38. Latinos in general and Mexicans specifically have great reproductive genes. At 38, we're just getting started, even if our first child was at 15.

Ok, so steve229 didn't say it in this thread, but today he admits that his definition of "civies" includes "sugar babies" who have sex for money. Keeping that in mind it is amusing to go back and reread his original post. (And, yes, some here realized it all along. Today is different because he finally admitted it. Guy is just a bit deceptive, even if not very clever, no?)

My ATF at age 29 is 40 years younger than I. Many times in our hours of ruminations, she has told me how hard it is to fuck an old guy. She says she loves me, but not like she loves someone nearer her own age. Another dancer who I've met OTC many times over the last five years is 26. I recently was trying to diffuse her stated ardor for me by saying, " you don't belong with an old fuck like me. You should be out with hot young guys who are closer in age." Her reply: I've had my fill of "hot young guys". They lack the sophistication of an older man. They're immature, self centered, and interested in their own pleasure, not in pleasing me the way you do. Both were sincere, both speaking their mind. Like us, their tastes vary, their interests change, and generalities usually bite us in the ass.
I'm only making an observation based on the many emails I receive. Here are a couple examples I received just today:

Umm...how is Douggie the only one making sense here. A 22/ 23 year old fucking a guy over 30 is looking for a free ride. Period. And that's ok. But don't get married she'll be blowing the pool boy right after the honeymoon :(

While everyone is different, I always thought MOST people liked/preferred dating someone who is in their own age-range. So if that many mid-twenties females actually prefer older men, I'd be surprised.
I could be wrong though, that's just the impression I've always been under.
