In light of Shadowcat's posting of the details of what will surely be the end of the Pink Pony to idiotic bureaucrats, I thought it was time for an encouraging reminder that this sort of shit by city governments doesn't always prevail.

I saw him once in the afternoon. Not what I expected. Just an average Joe.
The article says the dancers keep all the dance money. It's always been understanding that while there is no "per dance" cut from the club, there is a pretty hefty "rent" to work there. I always thought that seemed like a good model. Keeps out the fuglies. So that's not correct? There is no house rent?
