'"There is a wealth of information built into us ... tucked away in the genetic material in every one of our cells ... without some means of access, there is no way even to begin to guess at the extent and quality of what is there. The psychedelic drugs allow exploration of this interior world, and insights into its nature." -Alexander Shulgin "I suddenly became strangely inebriated. The external world became changed as in a dream. Objects appeared to gain inrelief; they assumed unusual dimensions; and colors became more glowing. Even self-perception and the sense of time were changed. When the eyes were closed, colored pictures flashed past in a quickly changing kaleidoscope. After a few hours, the not unpleasant inebriation, which had been experienced whilst I was fully conscious, disappeared. what had caused this condition?" - Dr. Albert Hofmann - Laboratory Notes (1943) "Kaleidoscopic, fantastic images surged in on me, alternating, variegated, opening and then closing themselves in circles and spirals, exploding in colored fountains, rearranging and hybridizing themselves in constant flux. It was particularly remarkable how every acoustic perception, such as the sound of a door handle or a passing automobile, became transformed into optical perceptions. . . . There was to my knowledge no other known substance that evoked such profound psychic effects in such extremely low doses, that caused such dramatic changes in human consciousness and our experience of the inner and outer world." -Dr. Albert Hoffman "Under the influence of DMT, the world becomes an Arabian labyrinth, a palace, a more than possible Martian jewel, vast with motifs that flood the gaping mind with complex and wordless awe. Color and the sense of a reality-unlocking secret nearby pervade the experience. There is a sense of other times, and of one's own infancy, and of wonder, wonder and more wonder. It is an audience with the alien nuncio. In the midst of this experience, apparently at the end of human history, guarding gates that seem surely to open on the howling maelstrom of the unspeakable emptiness between the stars, is the Aeon." - Terence McKenna "See I think drugs have done some good things for us. If you don't think drugs have done good things for us then do me a favor. Go home tonight and take all of your records, tapes and all your CD's and burn them. Because, you know all those musicians who made all that great music that's enhanced your lives throughout the years? Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreal fucking high on drugs, man." -Bill Hicks "Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is mearly energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, that there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imaginations of ourselves." -Bill Hicks "My final point about alchohol, about drugs, about Pornography...What business is it of your's what I do, read, buy, see or take into my body as long as I don't harm another human being whilst on this planet? And for those of you having a little moral dilemna on how to answer this, I'll answer for you. NONE OF YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS Take that to the bank, cash it and take it on a vacation outta my fucking life. And stop bringing shotguns to UFO sightings, they might be here to pick me up and take me with 'em." -Bill Hicks "Ever noticed that people who believe in Creationism look really unevolved?" -Bill Hicks "Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness; chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself. Think for yourself. Question authority." -Timothy Leary "Hippies started the ecology movement. They combated racism. They liberated sexual stereotypes, encouraged change, individual pride, and self-confidence. They questioned robot materialism. In four years they managed to stop the Vietnam War. They got marijuana decriminalized in fourteen states during the Carter Administration." -Timothy Leary "Hippy is an establishment label for a profound, invisible, underground, evolutionary process. For every visible hippy, barefoot, beflowered, beaded, there are a thousand invisible members of the turned-on underground. Persons whose lives are tuned in to their inner vision, who are dropping out of the TV comedy of American Life." -Timothy Leary "You're only as young as the last time you changed your mind." -Timothy Leary "Women who seek to be equal with men lack ambition." -Timothy Leary "We are dealing with the best-educated generation in history. But they've got a brain dressed up with nowhere to go." -Timothy Leary "There are three side effects of acid: enhanced long-term memory, decreased short-term memory, and I forget the third." -Timothy Leary "Science is all metaphor." -Timothy Leary "My advice to people today is as follows: If you take the game of life seriously, if you take your nervous system seriously, if you take your sense organs seriously, if you take the energy process seriously, you must turn on, tune in, and drop out." -Timothy Leary "Learning how to operate a soul figures to take time." -Timothy Leary "In the information age, you don't teach philosophy as they did after feudalism. You perform it. If Aristotle were alive today he'd have a talk show." -Timothy Leary "If you don't like what you're doing, you can always pick up your needle and move to another groove." -Timothy Leary Timothy Leary, In Death/Last Words "Acid is not for every brain...only the healthy, happy, wholesome, handsome, hopeful, humorous, high-velocity should seek these experiences. This elitism is totally self-determined. Unless you are self-confident, self-directed, self-selected, please abstain." "They've outlawed the number one vegetable on the planet." -Timothy Leary "Civilization is unbearable, but it is less unbearable at the top." -Timothy Leary "Psychadelics are probably responsible for every aspect of human evolution apart from the decline in body hair." -Terrance Mckenna "We wouldn't be here if it weren't for psychedelic drugs. In terms of the role of psilocybin in human evolution on the grasslands of Africa, people not on drugs were behind the curve. The fact is that, in terms of human evolution, people not on psychedelics are not fully human. They've fallen to a lower state, where they're easily programmed, boundary defined, obsessed by sexual possessiveness which is transferred into fetishism and object obsession. We don't want too many citizens asking where the power and the money really goes. Informed by psychedelics, people might stop saluting. "Take your political party, your job, whatever, and shove it."" -Terence McKenna

txtittyfan: "One of the things that has made me a successful trader is that I know everyday what the market will do before it opens, and I trade it accordingly. " I doubt there is anyone else in the world who claims they know what the market will do every day before it opens. Data and news events occur throughout the day, and even the best admit that they are frequently surprised. How you react then is key - not claiming you always know beforehand. I can find the original quote now, but along the same self-important/delusional/hyperbolic lines, txtittyfan also claimed to never have a losing month or week. I think he may have claimed to never even having losing days (I guess when you know what the market will do every single day before it opens that logically follows though). Amazing he is that good, but the most he can afford is $3000 trades, and, even, then he gets as giddy as a school girl at her first rock concert if he even makes $300 dollars.
