@Club & Papi- I like full nudity including showing pussy. I like it in the context of an already seductive stage routine, not as an end in itself.

I’ll Show You Mine…
NOVEMBER 15, 2010
My name is Veronica (Wrenna) Robertson. I am a 35 year old woman who has spent the past 17 years of my life working as an exotic dancer while attaining three university degrees. In this time, I have had the opportunity to witness the evolving relationship women have with their bodies. Plastic surgery has long been considered the norm in the industry, women having opted for breast implants since long before I started dancing. However, new procedures have become available and grown in popularity in this time period. The most surprising trend I have seen in recent years is the growing number of women seeking labiaplasty (surgical reduction of the labia for cosmetic reasons).
When a few women recently asked me to look at their vaginas, stating they were considering labiaplasty because they felt their inner labia were too apparent, they did so apologetically, as if it were somehow wrong to ask. This awareness was startling for me – realizing that even strippers, comfortable being naked around both women and men, do not openly look at or talk about their vaginas. I realized that if strippers are not looking at other women’s vaginas, who is? And if women aren’t looking at each other’s vaginas, where are they getting this sense of what theirs should look like?
In this society where even strippers are reluctant to look at another woman’s vagina, where parents do not show their children accurate pictures of the incredible diversity of female genitalia, young and old alike turn to pornography as an indication of what is normal. However, female actors now routinely undergo surgery to have their inner labia reduced, and magazines often utilize programs such as Photoshop to completely remove the inner labia, giving the vagina the “clamshell†appearance.
This is alarming as the society we live in also creates taboos around the discussion and display of both female and male genitalia.
This is damaging on so many levels. It is damaging to the young girls who see these images which do not represent their own bodies. It is damaging to young boys who grow up believing that there is only one appropriate size and shape for a woman’s vagina. It is damaging to both male and female adults who also believe that the clamshell is not only the most attractive, but also by far the most common shape of a vagina.
I have decided to do my part in countering this disturbing trend. With the help of my partner, I am publishing a book which accurately and objectively displays the beautiful diversity of the female genitalia. This book will be a hardcover, full colour photo book with life size and true to life colour pictures of the most diverse range of vaginas possible. I currently have models ranging from their early 20s into their early 60s. I am seeking models 19 and older of all ethnicities to participate anonymously in this much needed book. Shooting for the book starts in mid September in Vancouver. The working title for the book is “I’ll Show You Mineâ€.
The goals of the book are:
- To show in life size and detail the wide variety of vaginas with the goal of debunking the societal standard which originates primarily in the porn industry and is then perpetuated by the ignorance of women and men;
- To give a brief glimpse via text into women’s experiences and perspectives on their own vaginas with the goal of allowing other women to know that they are not alone in having issues with or concerns about their vagina;
- To help break the stigma which allows public display of vaginas only in porn or art photographs. I hope this book ends up displayed proudly and openly on many coffee tables, provoking those who see it to challenge their own ethics and ignorance.
A FINAL NOTE
I have often used the word vagina in this document. “Vagina†actually refers to the inside of the female genitalia, whereas the outside visible part, including inner and outer labia and clitoris, is actually called the vulva. However, I use “vagina†since it is most commonly used to describe the entire female genitalia.
