MJ Reggie Miller Larry Bird
Honorable mention: Charles Barkley. Us fat guys need to stick together
Dennis Rodman. A serious mental case but I loved the fact he just wanted rebounds. Did not care if he scored a point.

Bill Russell Michael Jordan Larry Bird
Watched Russell's last two years via the tube. Would have loved to see him in his prime.
M.J. was simply M.J.
Bird made my list as much for his passing as his shooting.

There was the world's most obnoxious fan (I think he was a Detroit Piston fan)whose mission in life was to piss off opposing players. When asked if there was one player he left alone. He said "Larry Bird. Make him mad and he will score 60 pts. against you". Nuff said.

Michael Jordan- the greatest of all time

He retired before I was born, but given my hipster-like sports inclinations I'll go with Pistol Pete. His scoring average must have been the most impressive for a non big man and died on the court literally.

Pistol Pete Jerry West
Barkley may not be the greatest players but he was IMHO, but he was the greatest character in the game.

Yeah Dougster, my favorite is Kareem Abdul Jabaar, the NBA's all-time leading scorer. Loved his fight scene with Bruce Lee in the 1978 film "Game of Death". It's still a classic.

I have one more person to add to the list, and that's me, yours truly, Dougster of TUSCL.
Why is that, you might ask? Can anyone guess? Anyone? Bueller? The reason is simple. It's because I

Basketball; a Sport? Until they raise the rim to 12 feet for the pros and 11 feet for college it does not qualify---- 7 foot men playing with the same height rim as 7 year olds....not a sport!! While we are at it widen the hash marks on the football field,, will make the game more interesting and field goals will no longer be automatic 3 points.
