I must've heard Cherry Pie by Warrant a million and one times inside of the strip club. Comedians have bits and schtick about this song. Is Cherry Pie overrated and played out or a classic strip club anthem?
If you haven't seen the video in long time, here it is.

I rarely hear it anymore. Played out? No way. I still love hearing it.
In my club they play total crap dance music most of the time. Cherry Pie would be a welcome relief!
I couldn't even tell you what music they play.Know what I mean?
They play music?
After years of adamant denials to the contrary, Warrant lead singer Jani Lane finally admitted today that their hit song “Cherry Pieâ€, was actually about cherry pie.
Right. And Cat Scratch Fever is about a feline pet living next door.
Here is George Carlin singing the original version from the 50's.
Shadowcat- I would hate to ruin your joke, but Jani Lane died in 2011, apparently drinking himself to death. BTW, I believe he ended up marrying the girl in the Cherry Pie video briefly. Bizarrely enough, according to Wikipedia, his given name was John Kennedy Oswald.
As for the song, one of clubs I visit regularly plays 80's hair metal songs like Cherry Pie at least 20% of the time, so there, at least, I'll hear it.
Right on for the Carlin clip Mr. Kat... Now that is music
George Carlin is awesome
They remade the song
Hairy Smelly Snappin Cherry Pie
" Bizarrely enough, according to Wikipedia, his given name was John Kennedy Oswald"
His parents had a bizarre sense of humor or very bad judgment in naming him.
There are lots of old R&R songs that can be strip club anthems.
Just like the movie American pie i like to get a warm one and stick my little faggot Dick inside it cause i ant never had the real pussy yet
Everything to do with 80s hair bands is way overrated.
