  Yeah fairly common, even among non-extras dancers. They often insist on bringing a male companion or only doing it with another dancer.
  
  You should tell her, if she's going to do escorting, she should use date-check.com or preferred411.com . I've seen the occasional private dancer or masseuse use these screening services.

  Not too familiar w/ private parties but have heard a bit about them.
  
  Often times the dancer/performer will have a guy for backup (sometimes the BF or someone they do business with) b/c they (dancer) are stepping into an unknown situation (i.e. visiting the home of a stranger).
  
  It is akin to the bouncer in the club whom is supposed to protect the dancers. I don’t necessarily think it is a pimping situation more like a cost/requirement for the dancer of doing business.

  Most of the strippers I've met OTC in this area (PVD - BOS) charge 400 to 500 per hour for FS. I'm unfamiliar with the " private party" as I described above. She told me that the driver is a bouncer at a local club, but he waits in the car. She said there's always 2 - 4 dancers depending on the number of men. The one she did last weekend, she was nervous, not knowing what to expect, and got high and was hazy about details. She said it was a bachelor party and she did a crazy nude dance on the groom, but says his fly never came down. She says that the driver's boss sets them up and is very critical of the dancer's appearance, he collects the fees, and she gets tips plus $100. She described the men as late 20's - early 30's yuppies. She gives 10% of the tips to the driver. If its as she describes its probably a good deal, but something other than her pussy smelled fishy.

  There was once a stripper that posted on here that also did private parties through topshelfent.com. She told me that she got $200 for just showing up at the parties and that and dances were extra and for the right price private dances in the bedroom were available.

  I just googled "private strip parties - Boston" and found 4 companies which describe their services and costs they sound legit and the cost is around $250 per dancer until you move into the Platinum area. Who knew? Other than one time in 1967 when I hired 2 strippers for a Fraternity party I'd never thought about it again. Back then one of the custodians who I worked with told me he knew, a couple of girls who'd show us a good time. For $100 each, I drove 40 miles, picked them up and they danced topless for about 30 of us and then by prior arrangement they raped one of the frat brothers who had bragged about his virginity and how he was saving himself for marriage. Mt GF at the time thought it was cr
  URL and shut me off for a few days. And this was pre-Animal House. John Belushi would've been proud.

  I had a dancer tell me she did private parties so if I knew anyone looking for that, keep her in mind. I didn't ask for details, but I do know she does not do OTC and is by the book in the club. So...it didn't sound all that appealing to me.

  They are fairly common here. Bachelor parties, birthdays, etc. I've been to a number of parties where they had strippers. For the most part, they go down like you described. There are services that offer it. I've only met a few in-club strippers who admit to having done it, and only actually see one I met at a strip club show up at a party.
  
  Much more common is a private party of two...

  Yep, private parties are fairly common. Usually girls bring security with them and get a fee just for showing up + tips.

  I talked with her this morning and she said she only worked one party and made $400 in an hour. No one proposed extras, all were perfect gentlemen, and she thinks she's got a 2 hour job at a Connecticut casino next week. She's told that these are the big moneymakers. Who knew?

  Gator - for a beautiful woman who has been stripping for 5 years, she lacks confidence. She called several clubs where she knows other dancers, emailed them her picture ( my avatar) and each club said sure, come in. She would get nervous and get high and not show up. This happened twice. I offered to take her to Amateur nite at another club, one thing led to another and we ended up in a hotel instead. She's a great dancer, real easy on the eyes, has a great body, but is extremely insecure. Also, her club demands exclusivity and if a dancer is found dancing at another club, they get fired immediately.
