Apparently it is an insult to most dancers to just buy a single lap dance. I usually cut off at one song when the mileage is horrible on that first dance: lots of air, my hands being removed from her hips or boobs (dependent on local norms), etc. Almost always they turn on the bitchy attitude when you don't renew for another and quickly scurry off in a huff. I guess stopping at one is the proverbial way of saying, "Fuck you, you dances suck." It is almost an unwritten rule you have to buy a minimum of two to keep a dancer amicable. You would think they would be grateful to make $20-30 in 3-4 minutes in times of high unemployment. What's your experience with single dances?
It could be just a combination of me and the dances in this area but, for someone new to me 'one & done' isn't a bad thing. It means either A) I'll pay for the dance, but I'm done or B) if we have another you will be moving my hands away from forbidden areas because the first was so good I might get carried away.
This did happen earlier today. I explained why I stopped after one but did bring her back for another to show her I really did enjoy the first one and didn't want to piss her off by trying to grope & grab too much.
I rarely accept a dance if THEY ask me if I wish one. She would have to be close to a 9 or 10 in my eyes, or VERY "friendly" when asking. If I decide to accept, I'll say, "Let's try one and see how it goes." That opens the door to them that more money await if the dance is good.
If I ask a dancer, which means I really like her, I don't bother with anything other than asking. I already have planned on more if she if good, but will stop at one if it isn't what I would expect.
When I only get one dance, it's one of three things:
1. Either the dance was bad or the dancer was bad
2. She made me cum
3. It's a one-for-the-road situation
The vast majority of the time, it's #1. I don't remember the last time #2 happened, although I do remember it happening early in my stripclubbing experience. As for #3, generally, it isn't only one dance.
Happened to me just last Saturday. Dancer pushed my hands away from her boobs in a place known for extras. Not only did I stop at one but I let my buddies know to avoid her.
I should have stopped at one last night but for your exact reasoning kept going (didn't want the girl to feel bad). What is worse is I went for 5, haha, so that is really stupid on my part. But I am still learning. I need to get in the mindset that this is all about me since I am paying and need to like what I am paying for. Good thing the dances were only $10/per. Plus she was one of the few good looking ones last night (which is back to that article from the other day).
This is just ANOTHER reason why the clubs in my local area (Richmond, VA) SUCK! You can't just buy one dance for 20 or 25 bucks per song. It's set up so you have to buy at least 2 songs or more. So you're out of at least 50 bucks once you agree to a lap dance AND you have to pre-pay. Obviously this sucks because you can't give the dancer a "trial run". Jackson Esskay knows what I'm talking about.
All the other clubs I've been to outside of Virginia aren't set up this way. You just pay a certain amount per song, and if you want more, its up to you.
If a girl gives me a really good dance, I'll buy multiple from her. But in general I don't like to buy a bunch of dances from one dancer, because I like variety and prefer to try out multiple dancers, rather than just stick to one girl.
The only way in going to buy several dances from one dancer, is if she gives great dances or the rest of the dancers working that night don't appeal to me.
I've closed dancers down after one LD quite a bit. Some have acted disappointed and/or lose interest in any social interaction when I do - sort of like she's saying, "Fine, just give me the money and let me get the fuck out of here."
I'd rather have that, though, than endure another bad/no mileage dance. On rare occasions, the first dance is borderline and then she opens up a bit on the second dance - like she's seeing if I'm worth it before she gives up too much, or she's rewarding me for my additional commitment.
And you're right, GoVikings - VA clubs suck. I used to live in Northern VA, and had to go into DC, which is saying a lot, considering how lame DC clubs are.
I've never had a problem with only getting one dance. In fact, many of my 'hang out' strippers I'll only get one dance from before they take off after hanging out. Also there's one dancer -- a tan, stacked like D's, gregarious SE Asian who I can only get one dance from, because a second I'd come on. Holy shit! Her body is just brickhouse great, she'll grind you cock off, talk dirty and has a habit of removing your shirt and running her fingers through your hair and rubbing her body over yours. Seriously, I can't make it a second song!
She's a seductress and if she ever turned evil, your ass'd be gone.
if i don't know what a guy wants, sometimes i'll take it slow the first dance. if he says he's done after one, i'll ask if he's good or if he wanted more. if he wanted more i make sure he gets it. if he's good, i help him clean up.
I get one dance for only two reasons:
1. Sympathy/get her to leave me alone...yes, I know they won't take "no" personally and I can spend it how I want but $20 isn't much to me and sometimes the best money spent to get rid of her the rest of the night or
2. It's a flyer on an unfamiliar dancer who I haven't gotten dances from before. If its a good dance, chances are later I will get more
