The funny thing is that while calling for backpage.com to shut down it included encouagement on training to recognize child sex trafficing. Which is interesting because you won't find underage girls on backpage.com It is too public, too well monitored by police. If you see an item indicating that an escort is underage on backpage and it is still there in ten minutes it means that it is a police plant done with the cooperation of the site.

The Village Voice is a Joke of its former self. It's free now on the streets of Manhattan. Last I picked up an issue (years ago) they riled against everything - MSNBC on steriods - and had a strong gay lean to it - "not that there's anything wrong with that," I just could not relate to it's perspective anymore. Oh, but this will be a gift for them...

Resolutions are frequently political posturing. They seldom receive the scrutiny that a bill would. Lame to blame Obama for this one as it apparently has no spending increase attached to it....lol

Libertarians are the only ones who support anyones rights. Democrats only support their adgenda. It is a woman's right to choose an abortion they do not consider it her right not to have one. I actually wish the abortion was legal in 1960 in Kenya or Hawai we would actually be better off.

When they put the bill forth as a measure to stop child sex trafficking how do you not vote for it. You would not be in the politics very long otherwise. It was a bi-partisan bill put forth by a republican so to blame Obama for it sounds reckless and bitter. Escorts will find different avenues to advertise their wares and if it does stop trafficking of kids I would support it.
