I am going through a severe dry spell here in southern France. My one visit to a club (not really a SC) nearby was unsatisfactory. The escort agency I used last year has disappeared. I am trawling the net but finding nothing within comfortable driving distance. The SC I visited in Marseille was the sketchiest SC I have ever visited - one drink and out for me; place was filled with scary looking Albanians and Arabs, with knives on prominent display. Street hookers are not my choice. I have resorted to hustling the local fiftyish divorcees in the wine bar - not very enticing. Any sophisticated world travelers out there with advice for this Canadian hillbilly?

lol farmer. Not much advice to give to someone buried in the countryside of France with no strip clubs or escort agencies. Heck, even in the more urban areas of France tales abound of ripoff artists preying upon guys looking for sex.
If I were you the airport would be looking mighty good right about now, as would about 4 months in Miami or Houston.
France tends to be too business-like or else you’re dealing with sex slavery. Almost all streetwalkers and anything associated with Albanians is pure sex slavery. I would suggest that you consider a road trip for a few days. There is nothing in Italy that isn’t sex slavery but I have found Spain more to my liking. The trend there is for Hostess clubs. Though somewhat expensive, they have good looking women who can converse and a menu for takeout. My experience is too dated to give specific recommendations but Barcelona is 5 hours from Marseille and Zaragoza is 7 hours. Zaragoza is off the tourist track and had a great club on the NW side of town. Sorry, don’t remember the name and it has been a while so it’s probably best to stick to Barcelona unless you want to fly to Madrid.
