Toronto - A North American SC Mecca

Sunday, April 24, 2011 12:00 AM

The more often I visit the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and its SCs the more I realize what a great city it is for us SC hobbyists. I have little experience with US SC hot spots but I do know Detroit quite well and the GTA compares very well to Detroit. Detroit's reputation is well known among us hard core hobbyists so you can, at least, consider my words being worth reading.

Start with the simple fact that prostitution is not a criminal offence in Canada. This removes an entire layer of worry for clubs, dancers, and customers. Solicitation is a crime in Canada but LE makes only desultory attempts at enforcing these laws, and even then, only with street prostitution. Fines are so puny that LE rarely bothers.

Toronto is Canada's largest conurbation. It is the country's financial centre and one of the world's great centres for mining finance. It is English speaking Canada's media capital and arts and cultural centre. Toronto is one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities. It has a vibrant and growing economy. Toronto attracts the lion's share of Canada's new immigrants. All this means that Toronto draws on a large ever growing pool of multi-ethnic and multi-racial beauties to staff the area's clubs.

Divide Toronto into downtown and suburbia when considering the area's clubs. Downtown - higher cost and lower mileage. Suburbia (Brampton, Mississauga, Concord, Rexdale, Vaughan, Pickering) - lower cost and higher mileage. This is NOT to say that mileage is unavailable downtown; it most certainly is but with nowhere near the easy availability in the suburbs. For this article, mileage means HJ to FS. Intimate two way contact during lap dances is pretty much a given in all GTA clubs. $20/song is the standard lap dance price. Bargaining over this gets you nothing but a pissed off dancer. Downtown clubs are higher cost because of business and property taxes, dancers' licences, and parking. You can expect valet fees, cover charges $10+ drinks, VIP entrance fees, coat check, etc.

In suburbia, cover charges are rare and then, only late at night. I have never paid for parking at a suburban club and only two clubs I have visited have levied VIP fees. I have never paid more than $10 for a drink and I have never been accosted by a shooter girl. Waitresses can be pushy with customer drinks but rarely to buy dancer drinks. Dancer hustle exists but that is to be expected. Stage shows are full nude and can be terrific or stupefyingly boring (less likely downtown). Tipping dancers on stage or for conversation is virtually unheard of.

Physically, Toronto's clubs run the gamut from plushly elegant to downright scuzzy. Same with VIPs. Wide open common rooms elbow to elbow with your neighbour. Roomy comfortable private cubicles to splashy Champagne Rooms with all bells and whistles. Dancer quality is amazingly high. Fatties are almost nonexistent. Butterfaces can be found but not easily. I have never encountered a prego nor an obvious granny. MILFs abound however and God bless 'em (my favourite prey!). OTC is more difficult than you would think and I have not figured why this is. Probably because I am a dine-and-dash road warrior not a dependable regular. Menu prices are all over the map. $100HJ - $200BJ - $300FS is usually the girl's opening gambit but do not be shocked to hear higher numbers. Bargaining is definitely worthwhile but with the usual caveat: "Screw the girl on price before VIP and you are screwing yourself inside the VIP".

In addition to SCs, Toronto has a booming massage parlour industry and hundreds (perhaps thousands) of escorts happily fucking clients for $200 all over the GTA - just not my game.

Toronto has scores of great restaurants featuring cuisines from all over the world (North 44 is a favourite of mine) and some great bars (love the view from the bar at Canoe).

Club Pro and Million Dollar are farmerart's favourite GTA clubs - one is sort of elegant and the other is rather shabby. Both have provided off the chart experiences with explosively attractive dancers. But, for absolute rock solid guaranteed mileage you can never beat the scuzzy old Cannonball Cabaret and its squadrons of jolly FS beauties.
.

This makes me want to take a trip to Toronto. But I would have to pay for air fare and hotel. Living near Detroit, I can drive to many good clubs, and there are still some Detroit-area strippers I haven't banged.

There was once a time when Canadian strippers would value our US Dollar. Now they would laugh at us if we tried paying them with the USD. Where can you exchange your money in Toronto? I know in Windsor you can use the casinos.

Samsung, just use the ATM's it's cheaper than doing so at the money exchanges at the border. When I last went the Dollar was equal to $1.04 Canadian and I got about $1.01 Canadian per $1 US, from the cash machine, while the money exchanges were $0.97 Canadian for $1 US. Even with the $2.60 charge per transaction it's cheaper as long as you take several hundred out. One gotcha is that most US. credit cards haven't converted over to the internation standard of embedded chips so when checking into motels the old fashioned imprint machines are still used, and the cards don't work at the gas pump so you have to prepay first. The only bank so far I know of that uses them is Chase, and it's only with a certain card.

Well written and informative. I live on the edge of downtown Detroit. The Detroit-Windsor Tunnel is 5 minutes away and the currency exchange is right there. Toronto is the next stop.

Nope never got hastled by customs, at least on entering Canada. I usually am asked why I am entering and how long I will be there. If it's just a short trip then I say several hours to see the sights, or if I am going to be there several days that I am there for vacation.

Sounds like it might be worthwhile to get my passport and make a detour next time I go north. :)

Toronto is often referred to as New York City without the attitude.

Thanks, farmer, I'll bookmark your article if I ever have a trip to Toronto. Truly Chamber of Commerce material. Have you submitted article to Toronto "COC" for consideration?

When did Farmer join the Greater Toronto Visitors Bureau???? LOL From everything I've read about the adult entertainment industry in Toronto rocks! I'm constantly looking for an excuse to get up there for a long weekend but haven't found one yet. [view link] is a great site for info on Escorts, massage parlors and strip clubs.
