Comparing Detroit and Akron strip clubs

I grew up in the Detroit area and have spent many happy hours in the clubs. I think it was sometime in the 1970's that topless gogo bars first appeared. The good clubs are actually outside Detroit proper, with Inkster leading the way. My current favorites are Bogarts and Henry the 8th north (H8N or Hanks). There used to be a Hanks south, but I don't believe it's still open.

Bogies has excellent food that isn't expensive. One time I noticed how many dancers ate there so I asked one about the food, and I started making it a point to plan on dinner there. Besides Bogies and Hanks I sometimes hit the Silver Cricket down Mich. Ave. in Dearborn. None of these 3 clubs have valet parking. I will never allow a valet parking trolk to control my vehicle, which has my pot and my piece (since I don't want to carry into the bar). The valet guys can hold your keys hostage if a dancer decides you owe her money and you disagree. For this reason I've never been to the Landing Strip or Flight Club.

Of my 3 favorites, Cricket, Bogies, and H8N, Cricket tries to be the most upscale, and is the most urban (black). They charge extra to sit in a booth. Bogies and H8N are less than a mile apart. They both have $5 cover, but as you leave you can get a pass to the other. They also let ex-military in free with ID.

For some reason I've found that most girls at Bogies don't want to do bbbj, only cbj. At H8N most girls happily slobber on me bareback. These 2 clubs are owned by the same people, they don't try to be ghetto-glitzy and they don't nickel and dime you. They charge $10 for water, but leave you alone after you buy one.

At both Hanks and Bogies you get a wristband for $10 to go to the back as many times as you want. So my routine has been to hit Bogies first and eat. Sometimes I'll see a girl I like, and I'll ask if she likes to receive cum in her mouth. I've found $100-$150 usually covers a bbbj in about 3 songs. The Detroit clubs don't have barside or tableside dances, and they have girls dancing on stage.

The Akron scene is different. My 3 current go-to bars in Akron are Old Glory Daze (OGD), GSpot, and Lucky Corner. None of these bars have cover charge or valet parking and they have cheap water, $2-$4. They have cheap beer and other drinks. These bars seldom have girls dancing on stage, in fact they don't really have stages. They have barside dances, for $5-$10. These barside dances can be quite naughty, we call them "DO" (dick out) dances. At Lusty Adventures, which is now closed, I've seen 2 or 3 guys getting orally pleased barside. One particular bar tender (now deceased) would come out from behind the bar and go down the bar giving barside headache relief to all that wanted it.

The private rooms are paid for by the dancers, $5 per song. Normally the private dances are $20 per song, which often includes some bbbj. I've never had an Akron girl want me to use a condom.

Akron bars are more dangerous than Detroit, but this is usually in the late hours, after midnight. A guy was shot dead at OGD recently, and I've heard of car jacking at Lucky Corner. I always go during the day and I've never had a problem.

All in all I like Akron better. The girls are sluttier (although they're slutty in Detroit too), drinks are cheaper, and barside dances are great. Detroit bars are better if you want to see dancing girls on stage. I think they're marginally safer as well.
