Patrons buried in their phone while sitting at the stage, or while sitting at a bar with a stage behind it, are just rude. You don't have to fake-swoon over a dancer you're not interested in, but there's no reason to so openly telegraph your disinterest. OTOH, no phone policies are dumb. Sometime, real life demands that you check in for messages. Gotta believe that PLs trying to sneak pics of the entertainers is a rare occurrence. If I'm travelling, it's likely I took an Uber to the club, and I can't leave the phone in the hotel for the evening, just in case something urgent comes up at work or home

An eminently fair and balanced review. You can’t tear dancers away from the regulars and little upside in doing so. Tough call between spending time here and being bored in your hotel room. There’s a shady looking BYOB just north of Harrisburg I’m giving a whirl next time

As per 59, this was a special event. No nude dances on stage normally

Tincan: Nope. Had business in Martha's Vineyard one day (flew to BOS the night before) and Central Jersey the next. 3 hour drive from MV to Hawthorne NJ, not counting recreational stops along the way.

Swore it off years ago. Don't miss it. Worst thing is when somebody from Dunkin accidentally slips me a caffeinated coffee and I don't realize it until my heart starts trying to break out of my ribcage. Your tolerance disappears

I think the 1-10 scale is flawed. It conveys levels of objectivity and precision that don't exist. To my mind, there are 3 functional categories: 1. Women I would be seen in public with in a dating relationship (even if they might not be seen with me); 2. "Beats jerking off"; and 3. The Rest. I'll definitely go into the club looking to hook up with the most attractive dancer I can in Category 1, but a poor or non-existent personality can affect my decision on relative attractiveness. Barring unusual time constraints, I'll definitely leave and go somewhere else if I don't see somebody who fits category 1. But, if I am running out of time or clubs, I'll start considering category 2. So, my standards are definitely fluid.

Came as close as I ever came to getting 86'd from a no-contact club in Milwaukee one night for the most harmless and inadvertent but repeated infractions (hands on the waist, etc.). Dancers didn't mind but the attendant was glued to the camera. Left out of sheer frustration and walked a few blocks to the club's namesake "on the water" and almost immediately met a dancer who invited me to her place after closing for OTC fun.

Does Emma still work here? Met her a couple times in the fall of 2021. Blonde in her 30s, tight body, fake boobs, beautiful face, fun in the VIP. Worked a couple afternoons a week

Here's a naive question: What's the business model for SCs supposedly "promoting" prostitution? They obviously openly charge a room fee, or get a cut of the established fee for lap dances/VIP, but I don't see how the club operator would even know what "tips" dancers are raking in for extras, to attempt to get a cut of that. Of course, becoming known as an "extras-friendly" club presumably enhances patronage, and, ultimately, the bottom line, but is there more to it than that? Otherwise, it seems like the extras-friendly clubs are merely "tolerating" rather than "promoting" P4P

Is "Flossie" actually "Glossie", or do they have one of each?

Don't know why cameras should be a topline item of interest. Low mileage, no extras clubs are well identified in the reviews. Does it matter if that's because of cameras, physical layout of the club, club "ethos", or whatever? And, if your dancer of choice is willing to engage in your activity of choice, does it matter if there are cameras?

I’m a terrible liar, and deception is off-putting, so I use my real first name. Nobody cares about last names. Three dancers I’ve spent a lot of time with know my last name, and I know theirs. Two showed me their DLs, for reasons. So, cautious honesty is the best policy. If anything, I’m a bit less inhibited/introverted Lon my interactions because the stakes are so low. The goal isn’t really to establish a deep relationship, and if things don’t click, it’s easy to move on

This is old-fashioned, but I try to spend the absolute minimum amount of time looking at my phone at the club. It seems rude to the dancer on stage. It's basically saying that whatever's on the phone is more interesting than whatever the dancer's doing (which may well be true). I'll take a furtive look from time to time just to make sure I'm not missing something important from work or, worse, from the SO

Just signing on to refute the claim that the presence of a metal detector indicates this place is somehow unsafe. Risque, and Cheerleaders and Delilah's, and Oasis, are as safe as anywhere else in Phila. Probably safer than Center City or the more touristy, pedestrian-intense areas, where, like any big city, there's the occasional strong arm mugging. Trying to think of the last SC I went to that didn't have a metal detector

I’m surprised any dancer working there didn’t have condoms. More likely she did but something about the patron turned her off. I’m 5 for 5 with FS (covered) in this place, although sometimes (not always) that required relaxing standards

VIP is $250/half hour at Risque. Thought it was $300 at Cheerleaders. Privacy is better at Risque but if the dancer is willing to give it up she won't care. Even the more "enlightened" dancers at Risque are likely to put the brakes on tittie sucking in the LD area, which isn't very private at all.

London School of Economics should do a study on the relative effectiveness of "making it rain" with hundreds of singles vs strategic deployment of an equal amount of cash
Also, the gentleman says he had 11 drinks, then got into his car

There’s a weird club in Wayne,NJ called Lace where a good number of the dancers are Russian women who are transported back and forth daily from their homes in Brooklyn. Place has a distinctly low-mileage, low-extras vibe, but that may be due more to the constraints of the club than the dancers’ collective worldview. Upon reflection, the transport setup could potentially be an indicator of trafficking, although it seems more likely to be a “perk” of employment
OTOH, Lotus, one of my favorite, out-of-my league dancers from my favorite, out-of-my-area clubs, Desire in Providence, is a Russian National, although she hasn’t spent that much of her still-short life there. Says she spent some formative years in -
Australia, as reflected in her accent. Very hot, and fun to be with. Russia can send more like her
If I could push a button and send Putin and his enablers, to painful deaths, I would do it, but I hold nothing against Russian emigres making a living here and maybe sending some extra cash back to Russia to help family make ends meet
Anyway, if I was to name a nationality/ethnicity that was most likely to guarantee a good time at the SC, I’d pick Brazilian

MBTA runs trains from South Station to PVD, but I'm sure it's a long-ass ride with many stops, to be followed by round-trip Uber rides to and from your club of choice. If I can't stay in Providence when travelling to the area on business, I usually arrange to stay near the Boardroom to the south of Boston, or the Banana or Squire Lounge to the north. None hold a candle to the Providence clubs, though. And, while criticism of no-tip lurking may be appropriate in most other circumstances, this place is perhaps the biggest ripoff scheme I've seen. You are to be commended for escaping only $50 poorer

Not a local but as a fairly regular visitor to the area it seems like Fantasies has a reason to exist that is different from Desire. Desire is definitely a much nicer place to spend time, but at Fantasies you can get in and out and get the job done for less time and money and with greater certainty. Sometimes, you want to stay at the Ritz Carlton, sometimes the Fairfield Inn is good enough
