Look but don't touch
I was in Boston for business this week, so of course had to sow my oats and check out the strip club scene. I studied reviews of the local clubs before my trip, and knew that expectations would be low and that I would not likely want to overspend for a no-contact dance in city limits. I didn't have a rental car, so Providence wasn't a practical option (not that I didn't hit up the Amtrak app a half dozen times to try to make it work) so I was stuck in Boston itself.
Centerfolds is close to an upscale club; the building is pretty nice (though it's down what is essentially an alley, not the most appealing real estate). The building was clean and I was greeted with a handshake and introduction by a very polite bouncer at the door. There were three or four dudes with ear pieces whose job was to keep things safe, collect the $20 cover at the door, and escort customers to their desired location in the club (I accepted a small high top table). The guy at the door told me that there were 20 girls inside working at that time (around 9:00 PM).
Generally the women working are quite attractive - the worst was probably a 6, the best was perhaps an 8 or 8.5. I didn't really see any 10s, but they were defintely a step above the NJ/Philly dive bar experience I usually find as I bargain shop.
