Where the English speakers are

I visited Scarlett’s on Thursday February 27, 2020 from about 2 to 3:45 pm. Location is slightly tricky to get to although just off I95 at Hallandale Beach Blvd. If you are on Hallandale Beach heading west just after you pass the left turn lanes to go onto I95 south and before the railroad tracks there is a left turn signal, turn here onto a road that heads south and then around a curve and you at at Scarletts. The parking lot in front of the club is not very big and although there was only a very small number of customers while I was there the lot had only a few spots left. Obviously they rely heavily on valet when there are more customers although it’s not at all obvious where the valet stashes the cars.

The entrance is toward to left of the long side of the building. No ID or security. There was no cover but the greeter asked if I wanted to have lunch, there is free lunch up to $10 value with purchase of a drink before 3 pm. I had already had lunch, when I got inside I ordered a bottle of water, $8, Fiji brand. There was one waitress who was very active, wiggling her ass almost like she was a dancer.

Entering the club the main stage, sort of a doggone shape with 2 poles is to the right. Beyond it along the back wall is the main bar. Rest rooms and ATM’s are to the left of the bar. To the left as you enter is a raised seating area with its own bar, and in the front right corner is another bar. Neither of these bars was in use this afternoon. There are chairs at the tip rail around the main stage and tables and chairs back from it. To the right of the stage is a raised area of booths. There are also 3 small one pole stages, one to the left and two to the right of the main stage, neither in use at this time. The lap dance areas are in the right end of the club. The decor of the club was very fancy, with the latest of lighting effects, including variable lit walls.
